Hitman: Blood Money
Yummy yummy Blood Money. I swear the Hitman series is the only time gamers can say "well, it's basically just more of the same" and it's a positive remark. What was your favorite mission? The second Vegas mission was probably mine.
Any advice on getting Silent Assassin at the Playboy Mansion knock-off? How about tips on completing Requiem? Been playing on expert, gonna start over on Normal to see if I can complete it that way. |
I liked Hitman.
I thought it was visually appealing and very well programmed. I also thought "Fuck me, this is the hardest game I have ever played..." I walked away from it, after the second level of the original game. I saw buddy spend three hours trying to sneak around and all that shite. I like sneaking and sniping, but there is a limit to the difficulty parameters. I dunno. Should I buy the Hitman series along with some strategy guides? I hate the fact that an old fucker has to buy strategy guides to come anywhere NEAR finishing the game. |
Ben, I bought the original when it came out and gave up on the first level. All of the subsequent hitman games are a great deal more enjoyable. Still difficult, but definitely more refined. I just played through blood money, i heard someone else call it the best one to date and i agree.

It damn well is the best one :) Finally done right. It's a joy to play, as hard as nails but in a good way. It's far less about finding the obscure way to pass the mission, there's a whole lot more freedom in what you do. I have the 360 version, and it's a classy act. Apart from the lame CGI, that is :)

I played Hitman 2: Silent Assassin and Hitman Contracts numerous times on different difficulty settings to see how sneaky and how far within the game I can get before getting caught, shot, or killed. I think the longest was 3-4 hours on hard, without saving, before I was killed.
I do agree that the game is hard the first time through, but I repeat each level until I find the best way to get into the building or area and best way to eliminate the targets. I might purchase this new game because it seems like it would be good times. |
I played the second one I think, and while somewhat fun the physics were a joke. People could actually run out of the way of moving bullets. Has it improved?

Oh yes, very much so. The ragdoll is slightly over the top, but you only really notice it when the game hits slo-mo when you're at death's door. Some strange AI, though - one level is packed with hundreds and hundreds of people in a crowd, and the cops will chase you through it firing and killing those around you.

There's nothing more satisfying than taking down a target without anyone even knowing you were there.
Some of the content is pretty hardcore though, the bondage party in the meatworks in Contracts was not something I wanted to be playing when Mum came past. |

I thought the last three levels of Hitman:Blood Money were incredibly difficult and it took me several hours to figure out how to eliminate the target without alerting the secruity guards and having my cover blown. |
I definetly enjoyed hitman
This one though had so many options to it it made it so hard to figure out a good way to beat the game without gunsablazing sometimes Just like on the one level with the Meatking you could hide the gun in the meat and all that other stuff Makes it so hard to beat unless youve already played it 3420927343 times or got a walkthrough Fun as f*ck though |

Well, I'm not averse to pulling out two Silverballers with magnum ammo. |

I prefer the dual ballers with the best silencer and equipped the scope, red light, extra ammo, extra clip and grip for better holding.
