walking is usually safer than running...unless you're running away from danger, though falling down on the way can be a bad thing. I guess it does depend.
In the case of this thread, I hope we're picking up our pace, it seems like we are according to MOAB's stats. Another tidbid before I move on, don't forget that "pace" means "peace" in Italian, Latin, and such languages. |

You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say will be misquoted then used against you.

I wanted to make this recently, but I don't have baking soda or flour. Or vanilla. All I have is bushels of bananas, and maybe malaria.

What the hell was that?
I slept the entire day, and I missed the most egregious news of the mirescape. I hate kids. So much so I want to organize them and teach them better. Did you hear the story about the kid (8ish yo) who missed his bus for school? He took his parents' car, and the keys, and went about driving to school at around 20 mph, even though he couldn't fully reach the pedals without having full peripheral vision of what he was passing. He eventually crashed into a ditch, a pole or something, first responders got there fast, and while they accounted for the boy, during the shuffle, one paramedic, fireman or authority other noticed the kid crossing street again, and asked "Hey, kid what's the rush? Where are you going?" Kid replied, "There's my school right there. I'm going to get some breakfast". Hopefully, BadNick can find the story easily (on google) by how I described it.

T-minus [2169] -- I still haven't read it fully even though I heard it on the radio and posted the link for you guys, but I will now, fully intending to ask you again how prococious the reckless kid seemed throughout -- on the one side, my side, it's the piano, no doubt, in eternal stride; but on her side, the one that enraptured me, it was the saxophone -- I do now.

I am very entranced by Hard Knocks: training camp with the Cincy Bengals.
Even though I am two months late on the show, given what has become of the Bengals' season thus far, it has been that much more compelling to watch. This is a picture from one of the subscriptions I, um... follow. (I don't use "um" that often; in fact, I make a concerted effort to eschew such meaningless words from my vocabularium) The subscription, if you were wondering, is simply called 'freckles':
