two four eight nine

That must be by doc18, and that reply must be two years old, if not older.
I've never said to be more than a dualist, and I've entirely too long to watch my first and only television program for the day.

Also, for more info on Jean Meeus, encapsulate his name with the [WIKI] tags.

Here's the first paragraph summary of his work and life:

Jean Meeus (born 1928) is a Belgian astronomer specializing in celestial mechanics. The asteroid 2213 Meeus is named after him.

Jean Meeus studied mathematics at the University of Leuven in Belgium, where he received the Degree of Licentiate in 1953. From then until his retirement in 1993 , he was a meteorologist at Brussels Airport.

His area of interest is spherical and mathematical astronomy.

In 1986 he won the Amateur Achievement Award of the Astronomical Society of the Pacific.

BadNick 10-07-2009 06:48 PM

24 ate 8 ...ahh, quite filling

That Mr. Meeus was quite the scientist.

Jetée 10-07-2009 06:52 PM

The original date baffled me when I went further on to read that he died in 1993.

I wonder when the next planetary 90 arch thingamob is happening... if it happened in 949, then again in 2942, well, then... ahem, carry the 7, add two millenia, then perhaps in my lifetime?

4935? I'll let the scientists figure that one out.

By the way, twenty-four eighty-seven.

This will get nearly as repetitive

BadNick 10-07-2009 06:56 PM

2486 and bedtime for this bonzo

Jetée 10-07-2009 07:01 PM

I've been waiting for you, and I've held off watching my programs for nearly two hours.

I'm very multi-task-oriented, so much so I skip to things upon other things while going halfway through them all, I leave them all to be finished until tomorrow. I got to work on that.

Here's some dumb thing I clicked on youtube: Bikini party (I don't think I'm going to finish watching this video. Perhaps you'll fill me in tomorrow.)

and some stupid twigs I followed via the forums: Thugs attack two men in dresses... who turn out to be cage fighters | Mail Online

Goodnight bonzo. Gonzo.

This looks like a sad picture. Sad, like goodbye.

(cues the ending theme to 'The Incredible Hulk')

Jetée 10-07-2009 07:03 PM

Goodnight blue-horned feathery never-quite-measured-up friend.

You'll find your peace, somewhere.

Jetée 10-07-2009 10:55 PM

I fixed a few of my images in the linkage thread... one on page two, and the other the exact post of my (second?) return.

Here it is (fixed):

Wow, you've been busy!

Thanks, Jet, that kept me busy and interested for several of the last few minutes. I especially enjoyed the bikini party, the chicks were really cute, and the guys were decent; seemed like a nouveau suburban kinda party. And I'm committing to memory my newly learned mantra: don't mess with cage fighter transvestites...not that I would have anyway.

Jetée 10-08-2009 06:53 AM

2482 or so?

2481 what looks interesting here, I wonder...

BadNick 10-08-2009 07:01 AM

I woulda guessed 2479 for this one...which obviously is the 500th Anniversary of The 1979 World Series wherein the National League's Pittsburgh Pirates were pitted against the American League's Baltimore Orioles, with the Pirates coming back from a three games to one deficit to win the Series in seven games. And lest we forget...the Pirates were famous for adopting Sister Sledge's hit anthem "We Are Family" as their theme song.

Jetée 10-08-2009 07:20 AM

This year, all the pirate-themed teams are very, how you say, incompetent.

2480 1/2

ring 10-08-2009 09:15 AM

Impotent pirates? What?

Ourcrazymodern? 10-08-2009 11:55 AM

There's not enough rum
in more than the seven seas
to make you wonder.

...but listen!
Can you hear denim?
On or off?

ring 10-08-2009 12:08 PM

I'm confusing chevies, levies and Levi's.

No I am not. I lied.

Ourcrazymodern? 10-08-2009 02:50 PM

Confusion can be easy
unlike thinking flown too far afield
& thus problematical.

You do not lie.

Jetée 10-08-2009 03:26 PM

2478.

I posted the song already, rihgt?

BadNick 10-08-2009 04:35 PM

I'm speechless for this moment. Is it 2477?

Jetée 10-08-2009 04:37 PM

My hnads are super-duper dyslexic

two four seven six

BadNick 10-08-2009 04:41 PM

is that bad, or a problem? Maybe just try to do everything backwards and it'll end up frontwards.

2475 < see. I typed in 5, 7, 4, 2 but it is now frontwards!

Jetée 10-08-2009 04:51 PM

24 74

I can't think of anything more to add.

ring 10-08-2009 05:16 PM

Your being adds.

BadNick 10-08-2009 05:29 PM

oh I remember 2525...it could have been scary except I'm an eternal optimist....2472 i think?...though I've lost the if and why

Jetée 10-08-2009 05:47 PM

I haven't bought a Sports Illustrated in over two years, I'm so ashamed.

two - 2471 = bleary-eyed tired.

His wife had been killed in an suspicious accident and the police were questioning Finnegan.
"Did she say anything before she died?" asked the sergeant.
"Aye, she spoke without interruption for about forty years," said Finnegan.

Tophat665 10-09-2009 04:10 AM

Poor Finnegan...

BadNick 10-09-2009 06:15 AM

My son has a subscription to Sports Illustrated but he seems to never look at them. So after they lay around for a while and a couple accumulate, I throw them into the paper recycling...except for the swimsuit issue which I retain for reference/research purposes.

Sometimes way too stiff, I'm told.

again, coincidental, as I just polished off a box of shredded mini-wheats, and snagged a helping of Metamucil from the cupboard. I also accomplished something that I'd hadn't done this entire eighth month of the year, and it was all thanks to a simple cup of coffee (I think). I'm beyond relieved at this point.

that's what he told me.

twenty four on route 66. Won't you beckon that call?

maybe magic?

Ourcrazymodern? 10-09-2009 06:33 PM

She's repairing the bedroom?
I heard that & got all excited.
Maybe I should get in more.

Jetée 10-09-2009 06:51 PM

Is it a coincidence that 64 dolphin hours equals 24 human hours? In my estimation, it does equal one or the other. Of which I made up.

24=64
