I've only played it for arcade and I had no idea how to tag either, but I still owned. My 2 was usually Spidey/Jin or Spidey/Gambit.

Notice how Batman is the biggest and in the center... they know who's boss!
 I don't know Jin was... I also had Capcom vs. SNK 2... kick-ass game, but I was a beginner and could only use the Gamecube's C-stick. Button combos are too hard on that controller. (sold that game for 8 bucks  )
