Ahh yess the memories.
Southern California..1981 It is generally not a good idea to stand in 4 inches of surf, with a 10 or 12 foot wave bearing down on you, I too have been surfed, face abraded into the turf, arms and legs desperately flailing to find 'UP' The Atlantic Ocean on the East coast off north america, is a much warmer and gentler lover. |
In honor of "longest" this would likely be a legit contender
http://i59.photobucket.com/albums/g2...4/10363814.jpg ...and ring's desperately flailing to find "UP" reminded me of thinking "hmmm, how long can I hold my breath" and thus another recent longest ...that David Blaine guy recently broke the record for "holding your breath the longest" by doing it for 17 min. 4 sec. and witnessed (though this is not the witness protection thread) by that long-running-show host, Oprah. |
Some nights..are so very long.
Burt Reynolds was in a movie about a longest something also. |
Yard?
There goes another skirt! |
fucking helll!
|
Dare say I recall the longest yard
|
I haven't seen "The Longest Yard" yet - not that it's in the plans.
But here is another "longest" . . . . a website with the longest list of the longest stuff - including (i think) the longest domain name. .. |
Time for silk.
|
The chocolate? Music group? Or the cloth?
|
Spider silk.

Sup.
|
oh..the sun is bright.
The birds winging and singing, to all the flowers. |
Damn!
Just go ask Alice:
She was really quite surprized when her head grew out. (1-3)x6=-12 Damn, I was afraid I might get the palindrome instead, not that you would screw with my silly math. What's 5280 feet divided by a mile? |
I've messed with your math again.
One kite flying over Grandad's. |
I love ring
Billing and cooing.
Birds flying in the the dark last night chirped a lot. What kind of birds were they? ((1-3)+6)+1)=5 |
I love Ourcrazymodern?
A bird in the hand is worth...hmmm.
Love I betcha. |
a brief interlude from love:
"stewardesses" is the longest word typed only with the left hand ...or so they say http://www.knowledgebase-script.com/...ticle-485.html |
Fascinating. Did you know it's "lollipop" with the right?

GUENEVERE:
Tra la! It's May! The lusty month of May! That lovely month when ev'ryone goes Blissfully astray. Tra la! It's here! That shocking time of year When tons of wicked little thoughts Merrily appear! It's May! It's May! That gorgeous holiday When ev'ry maiden prays that her lad Will be a cad! It's mad! It's gay! A libelous display! Those dreary vows that ev'ryone takes, Ev'ryone breaks. Ev'ryone makes divine mistakes The lusty month of May! Whence this fragrance wafting through the air? What sweet feelings does its scent transmute? Whence this perfume floating ev'rywhere? Don't you know it's that dear forbidden fruit! Tra la la la la! That dear forbidden fruit! Tra la la la la! GUENEVERE & CHORUS: Tra la la la la [etc.] GUENEVERE: Tra la! It's May! The lusty month of May! That darling month when ev'ryone throws Self-control away. It's time to do A wretched thing or two, And try to make each precious day One you'll always rue! It's May! It's May! The month of "yes you may," The time for ev'ry frivolous whim, Proper or "im." It's wild! It's gay! A blot in ev'ry way. The birds and bees with all of their vast Amorous past Gaze at the human race aghast, The lusty month of May. CHORUS: Tra la! It's May! The lusty month of May! That lovely month when ev'ryone goes Blissfully astray. Tra la! It's here! That shocking time of year When tons of wicked little thoughts Merrily appear. It's May! It's May! The month of great dismay. GUENEVERE: When all the world is brimming with fun, Wholesome or "un." GUENEVERE & CHORUS: It's mad! It's gay! A libelous display! Those dreary vows that ev'ryone takes, Ev'ryone breaks. Ev'ryone makes divine mistakes The lusty month of May! |
none
Who might have said that:
Trippng the Light Fandango? I challenge the guess. I also offer: C'est moi. |
Procol Harem? ...May it flow to me from love lollipop stewardesses, which sort of sounds like a John Waters movie.

I am your human;
I will warm you, your blanket; my fellow human. Whatever+whatever= some really cool stuff. |
I will see the sun,
shining on the copper hairs; in eight days, my love. |
You know I'll be there,
like white will tend to be on rice, like a sight unseen. I love your ivory bracelet. |
My ivory has a special patina.
Forever now. |
You will never fool me
Unless you might interrupt my primitve math. Should I say more? |
Pretty please with your favorite topping.
|
I will not betray
the one I can truly love with chocolate syrup. Skirts. |

Ah, darlin'!
What would you not do to help me? Let me put something ...strange in front of you strangers: It's ordinary. Hence the face in it. And its very happy face. Mr. Changeable. |
Planet is Earth is blue.
|
Very pretty, ring. What is it?
|
I cannot remember,
and I forgot to save the tag. This particular bloom now resides between pages 933 and 934, in of one of my dictionaries. |
I can't judge size with the background. Is it as huge as it looks? I don't think I've ever seen a flower like that. :D
|
Asteraceae / Compositae - it's in the sunflower & daisy family. Don't know those well enough to hazard a guess. Pretty pretty.
|
I do remember the name of this one also in the garden,
Huechera - Peach Flambe most pleasing excellence. http://i253.photobucket.com/albums/h...eachFlambe.jpg |
Pretty!
|
Shhhhhhhhhhh!
|
It certainly is quiet here on Saturday mornings.
Oh..now I have the Sandpiper's song, Saturday Morning playin' in my head. |
She keeps on passin me by...
|
You beezin awake!
|
Been awake since 8AM, at work.
Actually since 7:20AM. I'm bored. |
Hey, my powers to sense you have come back! :D
|
Revel in it .:D
|
Revel.
|
|
|
Farewell.
|
I hope it is not a departure.
I hope we all fare well. |
Fare thee well, fellow nonsensical afficianados! If you must depart for some time, bring back some newfound nonsense to share when you return.
|
peace out!

Five in five.

Yoyoyo.
Jet, did you ever get a Wii and Brawl? :O! |
I was just reading about a new Wii workout game that was rated quite good for elderly people to limber up while having fun.
Here's a "longest" record waiting to happen that we can go after: How long was the longest hokey pokey ever? Believe it or not, we could not find a record for the longest Hokey Pokey dance. Seems it's a record waiting to happen. Just so you don't feel disappointed, the largest Hokey Pokey was held by Elmo from Sesame Street August 25 2003 at the CNE in Toronto. An estimated 196,569 people participated. |
Standing on my head
I infused my goddamn self with some other things. |
We are doing the best we can.
Some rather amusing jockeying-for-position goin' on here, with the one working washer for a hundred some apts. |
Trapped inside one's soul, what's an entity to do?
It cannot change it. 13-6=7+0 |
132 times 5280 = Happiness.

NATURAL CLOTHES DRYER
http://i59.photobucket.com/albums/g2...pics4/610x.jpg ...or I can almost imagine a clothesline 132 miles long to help you dry your clothes. Now that would be the longest clothesline  http://i59.photobucket.com/albums/g2...c9fc655e99.jpg ps: I just realized you said "washer". So ignore my poetic license above and just go down to the local creek. |
2:34 am and im fucking bored.
psst, does anyone have any pot? |
I have laundry issues, too. Sucks, dunnit? :grumpy:
|
I hope it rains.
|
there you go ...clothesline + spray & wash + Eso's rain ...or hose em down >> let em dry. I'd just let them hang there until needed that way you don't even need to fold and store. Sounds even easier than a washer & dryer to me. No?
|
Works for moi.
|
Interesting how some posts in this thread of non and sense can just come together to form something relevant to the topic(s) at hand.
AMAZING! [: |
Full moon- 100% of the moon is illuminated.

The sound ten coyotes make when one catches a rabbit.

We love you. |
The weather tides so,
I cannot believe we're here to be enjoying. |
I'm feeling sort of spaced out at the moment...the longest wave  lengths are toward to left end of this spectrum.

My fleeting abstract
cannot pretend anymore, and it never has. 13686 |
i had a good weekend.
|
Oh yeah, cherry bombs! :p
|
The reservation,
has been extended for us; We may have three nights. |
it's been a while, but
now i'm back, ready to add more nonsense and fun what's up people? hope y'all having a happy Tuesday :) |
Oh a tad of this a pinch of that,
procrastinating some things. I sang a song to my dog this morning. He almost joined in. |
Get ready for my longest winded report, or facsimile thereof. So far it's a pretty good Tuesday for me, thank you. I don't have a dog now to sing to or with, but the idea of getting one is fermenting in the back of my mind. I got a phone call from my lovely daughter yesterday, she's been living very happily in Olympia WA for the last couple years; she just got a motorcycle and asked me to ship her my old helmet, I'm sure she'll customize it with her unique artistic talents. Being I'm an impressionable guy, this morning I immediately registered on Ducati's website and am trying to decide on which of their nice bikes best suits me...though apparently it's difficult to lug a surfboard around on a motorcycle...sidecar maybe? Now I have to give serious thought to my lunch plans. ...I just interupted my typing since the guy in the next office just came in and dropped an issue of "Draft" magazine on my desk ...as in draft beer. So now we must visit one of the local pubs to taste their current varieties of drafts from around the world. Life is fun.
http://i59.photobucket.com/albums/g2..._touchdown.jpg |
Life is.
|
tru dat ...I like the sound of that, short and sweet.
|
I like life.
Life likes me. I'm remembering a song from a musical movie of Scrooge. I believe it was Albert Finney singing that. Yes..found it. here it be. |
...and wine not?
|
I do truly love having this one stuck in my head.
It is the most pleasing Pollyanna type rush. I did post this over in songs that get stuck in your head. I will go water and feed all those that need tending now. |
"I cannot do this!",
Pollyanna cried, rushing to her water bowl. 13698. |
I will and I must.
Tie me kangaroo down sport. reciprocalists. |
I just had the longest lunch today.
