I started to play hooky today and play golf, but it rained this morning. So if I took off right now, I'd probably go home where the house is vacant and play some music at a volume only I appreciate.

Speaking of which, what kind of stereo do you have? I have an old (1984 or so) Sears system with a CD player I added a couple of years later. Frankly, I listen to most of my music on the computer headsets and in the car.

I also listen to my music using incredible earbuds and my car stereo. My car stereo needs an amp and a few new speakers, but not worth the money for my short car rides.

I have a kick-ass Sony Xplode deck, but nothing to back it up with.

I have one of those cheap all in one systems. It has AM/FM radio, dual tape (that I never use) and CD player. I would love to own an expensive system but I can't justify the expense. This does what I need it to do.

EDIT: I would mix in some Bailey's with my coffee.

I need to get my haircut. When was the last time you had your haircut? How much did it cost and do you go to the same person everytime? (mine is about $20 and Sheila cuts my hair).

I vented about my most recent hair cut in my journal... cost me a whopping 75 bucks for a lousy cut and adequate color job... Diva stylist practically yelled at me for coloring my hair at home...(Yes, I know that's bad) and how dry my hair was (it's not my fault there's crappy water here, I condition every day) as well as trying to convince me that I should blow dry.. I'm inept... I cant... I will never go back to this guy again...

What do you think of a show like "What Not To Wear"?

On one hand, they seem to be genuinely helping their subjects, who are often in tears at the end because of how renewed they feel.

On the other hand, maybe it teaches us be too judgemental and catty about fashion. The tips are good, but most of us have neither the $5000 to reinvent our wardrobes, or even access to designer labels. After every episode, I can almost hear the collective sigh of America, staring at closets full of dumpy, dated clothing.

The last test I took was one of those personality profile pre-employment thingys for my current part-time gig. I have a good idea as to what they're are looking for on these things. Looks like I did fairly well, since I got hired.

Watching a movie, popcorn in hand, getting those little butterflies in your tummy. You look over at her, and you notice how she is watching the movie.

The screen is emitting light, making her look amazing. The colours changing, fast and sometimes strobe-like. The sound of the movie is taking on a new sound, the sound of your heartbeat. She is sitting right beside you, and she has the perfect amount of cologne on. You can barely smell it, but it is amazing. You know that the fragrance would intensify if you leaned in closer. Oh god, how you want to lean in closer...

You pay attention to the movie again, and out of the corner of your eye, you see her looking at you.

You cross your legs, and your knee 'accidentally' touches her knee. Hey, there isn't any crime in that! She doesn't move her leg. She leans in a tiny bit, and her shoulder is gently touching yours. Oh my.

You were right about her smelling better when she got closer.

Where are you? Are you watching a movie? Wasn't this the movie you wanted to see for a long time? Where did your mind go? Oh, right. You are looking at the girl again. This time, she looks at you the same time. Her eyes. Half of her face in shadow, the other half with that movie glow. She smiles. Do you look the same way to her? There is no way you look as good, but the lighting is the same, anyway.

She mouths the word "What?" with a smile, wondering why you are staring. If only she could read minds, to see how perfect she is at this moment. What an ego boost that would be. Can you preserve this moment forever, in long-term memory? "Nothing" you mouth back, but you aren't smiling. You are seconds away from crying, knowing that this perfect moment can't last long enough.

Anyhoo. That is my idea for a romantic date.

What is your Most Favorite form of exercise? Least Favorite? (Get your mind out of the gutter, you petite cochon)

My favorite is rock-climbing, but I haven't done it in years and years.

It was the early 80's. A miniture version of my current self was at the mall with mom. The Return of the Jedi has been in theatres for some time now, and all the Star Wars toys were every where. I saw this pair of Yoda scissors that looked so "bad" that I had to have them. I figured I'd hold on to them and ask mom to but them for me. The next thing I remember, is getting out of the car in our driveway at home. And the scissors were still in my mini hand?! Oh well. I wonder what ever happened to them...

I picked up "A Street Car Named Desire" on DVD. It was recomded to me by an old friend of mine. I bought it last summer, and have yet to watch it.

i used to listen to online music ... but then i got digital cable, they have all my music needs while im in the house, "comercial free"! ... in my car i listen to the local stations (i find i get bored with all my cd's after a while)

What one thing gives you the biggest "adrenaline rush"

I would say that Chris Rock has his moments, but Dave Chapelle is one of the best well-rounded comedians out there today.

Sylvia Plath, I have all of her books, and I've read a couple of good bios about her. The biographical info improved greatly when her husband passed away. His sister controlled the info for a while, she was a bitch and did everything she could to paint Plath as psychotic.

I have a lot of pet peeves , but in honor of my last roomates, here are two: putting groceries away in the fridge/freezer while still in the plastic bag from the store, and on a related note, putting an empty container of any kind back in the fridge/freezer. Drives me nuts!

I've done a lot of work onstage and a little bit backstage. Backstage, I was an assistant stage manager on Romeo and Juliet and dinner theatre thing that I can't remember. I was also assistant director on an excellent production of Sexual Perversity in Chicago.
