what's on your keychain? My office keys have a mini-vibrator, that has a dead battery, loyaly cards fro CVS, Pathmark, Stop and Shop, and foodtown (guess i'm not that loyal) assorted keys, and a key fob that says, I like my attitude problem. my apartment keys have a big blue free form heart on it...

I only have two things on my keychain: my truck key and my apartment key. I can't stand having a huge thing of metal jangling around in my pocket, so I keep it simple.

What color is your bedspread and sheets? My comforter is navy blue on top and tan on bottom, and my sheets are tan as well.

A small checkered pattern in different shades of blue.

What colour are the walls in your bedroom? I think the name of our colour is "Chamois", so a buttery colour.

What is the lighting situation in your bedroom?
I have to bedside lamps in brothel red - that give a lovely red cast to the room, and on my dresser, I have a beaded multi color lamp that i beaded myself... it's tacky as all get out but it's fun...

My bedroom is dark... the light in the ceiling fan no longer works and the two side table lamps don't offer enough to really see. I also have put a light in my closet so I can find my clothes.

My bedroom is due for a big makeover.

There are too many of my own to list... but what about your current house bugs you? What are you going to do about it?

We live in a row house, so our biggest complaint is that the only access to the backyard is through the house. This is a pain when you have to mow the lawn. Also, the front doesn't have a water faucet or electrical outlet outside, so we have to feed from inside. Also, we only have a 60amp service, so no hot tub for us. We'll address these things eventually, but for now the priority is the backyard. It's a lumpy weedy mess and the back deck is in rough shape. This summer we're going to hire a landscaper to re-sod the backyard and next year we'll do the deck.

Otherwise, we love our house, It's a perfect fit.

What's the worst feature about the worst place you ever lived?

One of my wife's apartments was next to a parking lot for a nightclub. The club emptied out in the middle of the night and all the idiot patrons would hang out there, revving their cars and generally being loud, drunken A-holes. As a bonus, the lot would get noisily snow-plowed at 5am during the winter.

143 Shaw Street, Apt 2, Garfield New Jersey... the entire thing was the worst feature...

14 dominicans lived in the first floor, and momma's idea of fun was to send the 8 children under the age of 8 out to play on weekend mornings about 7am - and let them be as loud as possible. (not fun when you are 22 years old and had just gotten in from a night of dancing at about 4am - -and you have to be at work at 10:00am)

Family of 4 above us... for kicks, once a week, the husband would get drunk and beat the wife up once a week, and she'd smack the little girl around every so often.. Dad would get arrested for beating up the wife, get taken off to the police station, he'd come home later- turn on elvis and you'd hear the mattress springs a creakin' as they got busy...

There was a polish chuch on the street corner.. that rang bells loudly everyhour - -i mean every freakin' hour... and the elderly polish ladies would yell at me for not going to church as i went out ot work on sunday...

The landlord would come over on the weekends at 8am or so - to 'fix' stuff.. one morning my roommate's boyfriend came out of my roommate's bedroom and said the landlord was sitting in the living room, just watching the bedroom doors... Odd fellow...

When's the last time you got really really drunk? I don't recall and I really need to...

Really, really drunk? Hmm... it's been awhile - I think around the middle of January. Come to think of it, I haven't even been really drunk in awhile, let alone really, really drunk.

What's your favorite thing to do on a rainy day (besides sex)?

I think I could be a vegetarian.... but I would have to see the money. And no Vegan shit either. This is regular vegetarianism, not militant.

Hmmm... I was thinking I'd go vegan for the mill, but the thing I most like to spend money on is food that has either cheese or seafood.

For a million dollars, I would sacrifice television. Even getting Sopranos recaps from Telly Without Pity. TV would be dead to me.

I'm reading Everyone's Pretty by Lydia Millet. What are you reading?

I keep more than one book going at once. The main one, since it is checked out of the library, is Spitz' THE BEATLES. Not bad, could be better. I also have THE CHRONICLES OF NARNIA by C.S. Lewis on the nightstand (I'm reading the part about Prince Caspian) and of course, I read the Bible daily.

Speaking of libraries, when were you last in one? For me, it was a couple of weeks ago. There is a branch of the city library next door to my office and I went in to look at a newspaper article. While there, I saw the book referenced above.

I was in a library, probably about a month ago. I love going to the library - I'm a huge book nerd. Speaking of which, I think I shall make a trip there this week.

And since we're on a library theme for now - what's the worst fine you've ever been issued from the library? (darn late books)

$21... max fine on all the books I had out. I think of the late fees as my way of donating to the nice people at the library that let me use their books.

What would be your "last meal" be before you got sent to the chair?

I'm told that a prisoner can only order "off the menu" of what is available at the prison. Putting that aside, I'm going for crab legs, shrimp, a well done prime rib, a nice salad and pecan pie.

Ever been inside an operating jail, either as a visitor or a prisoner? I don't mean the booking desk or the visiting area, I mean the housing unit. I have been there quite often, as I am a criminal defense attorney.

I have seen the inside of a jail cell.. Back in college, two friends of mine and I decided to make the trip from Massachussetts to New Orleans... Somewhere outside of New Orleans we got stopped for speeding in my Yankee-mobile... Barney Fife didn't like Yankees much... especially not yankee college girls... and decided we needed to see the judge (rather than just give us a ticket.) We ended up spending the night in a jail cell, in a county jail (that looked just like Mayberry's Jail cell) with a drunk sleeping off a bender in the next cell... Judge let us go the next morning with just a warning (I suppose the jail cell was cheaper than a hotel room)

How much sleep did you get last night? I got about 3 hours... I'm tired...

Have you ever been in rough seas while in a small boat? I have a couple times. Once when I was on my dad's catamaran, a storm hit while we were several miles from shore. I was only twelve or so, so I was scared shitless. The other time happened on a small outboard fishing boat, and we got caught along a long section of cliffs when the storm caught up with us. We couldn't put in anywhere because of the cliffs, and we were taking on so much water the boat was more under water than above it.

I was part of a racing team on a sailboat in inclement weather, and came close to not making the jump to hike the starboard in a change of direction. Other than that, it was a 36 foot boat, so it handled rough seas very well.

Describe the object of your affection in the last erotic dream you had. Mine was a forward aged morph of a girl I knew in high school. My psyche was digging deep, for some reason.

I am reading uTOpia: Towards a new Toronto. It is a collection of essays about the change (for the good) that is starting to happen in Toronto. The selling point for me was the cool maps in the back. They show a very different Toronto, a Toronto that might have been, that might still be...

I am off to the cottage for the weekend what are you doing for the Easter long weekend?

No, I do not own a gun... because while it's got a very long fuse... I have a pretty intense temper... and if I had access to a weapon, given the right circumstance, I wouldn't trust myself to not use it... besides loud noises scare me...

It seems, the only time I do any real cleaning, is when I'm avoiding doing what i really should be doing.... What do you do when you are avoiding doing what you should be doing -- or do you not avoid stuff at all... (i'm really not avoidin it so much as Id on't have the motivation to deal with it right now.

Supose you had all the money you'd ever need right now, what would you be doing? I would most likely be on a house boat, living/sailing from port to port. And speak at the occationally seminar as to how I got all the money I'd ever need so that they can do it too.

Two years ago I had the flu on Christmas. I was sick a couple days prior, and was really sick on Christmas Eve. I still went to work because I never had the flu before and didn't know what it was. After almost passing out twice at work I should have realized I was ill...but dummy me, I still stayed. I also went to the party my dad throws every year; he made me leave early because I looked so bad. After all that, I didn't get anyone sick that I'm aware of. My hubby came home from work that evening to a pile of unwrapped presents, and he knew something was up. He even wrapped them for me (he despises wrapping gifts). I started feeling a little better Christmas day, but the holiday still sucked for me.

Do you have seasonal allergies? I'm pretty lucky, I get a stuffy nose occassionally in spring but not miserable allergies like my dad and sister.

Like most religious holidays for me, it has more to do with family than its true meaning. I do take the time to think about the importance of sacrifice though.

Do you have a t-shirt that displays a silly message, completely unrelated to who you are or what you represent? I got one as a present that says "Life is simple: Eat, Sleep, Play Pool!" (the i's are dotted with pool balls). I think the last time I played pool, was in a bar over 2 years ago. I wear it as an undershirt.

I have one that says "Attorney At Law. Suing people since . . . whenever." An old secretary gave it to me.

What's your favorite "new" kids' cartoon, meaning one that has been in production in the past five years (I'm trying to eliminate the old Bugs Bunny, Bullwinkle, Pink Panther and the like)? I like the Simpsons best, but it's not really a "kid's cartoon." I guess I'll go with Rugrats.
