Is that the little plaza on north service road in Mississauga with the California's bar?

That it is! The plaza's name is Applewood Village and the bar (California's) hosts a car cruise night every Wednesday during the summer. The Plaza is also home to one of the GTA's few remaining Little Ceasar's Pizza franchises; Reason #2 for my visit that night.
