It's sort of in the middle of the Avalon Penninsula. Honestly people, if you google some of Fresnelly's replies and Newfoundland, it's on the first page to pop up.

That's in the South of the Avalon Penninsula, not the North. I'm giving up on you guys, seeing as I'm off to sea again. The answer here, like the other photo I posted not to long ago, is Harbour Grace, Newfoundland. The monument is too honour the amazing number of trans-atlantic attempts in flight.
