Nope.

Clue No. 3.....

Look at the vegetation in the area.....notice anything remarkable and consider that Leto is on "the right track"

Getting very warm (in a very cold place).

It used to be part of Mackenzie Northern Railway. That line was built in the mid to late 60's by CNR to haul iron ore out of the north. Then the mine was closed because the ore was too expensive to refine (low grade) and eventually the track was sold to Rail America who ran it as a shortline from Romeo Junction northwards.

CNR has recently bought the track back for some reason.

So the question now is, where on the line is that bridge....

As I initially said, there is a "geographical significance" to this bridge.

Okay, I'll give this a reasonable guess. My theory, based on your hints, is that this bridge is at Hay River, which would make it significant in that it is the northernmost point in Canada and all of North America which is connected to the continental railway system.

Hay River is a town on the shores of Great Slave Lake, and is the terminus of the Mackenzie Northern Railway.

IF not this, then I am at a loss. I was thinking It may be the Deh Cho bridge near Fort Providence, But I believe that is a highway bridge only.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hay_Riv...st_Territories :

Hay River is a community in the Northwest Territories, Canada, located on the south shore of Great Slave Lake, at the mouth of the Hay River.

Hay River is the northernmost point in Canada and all of North America which is connected to the continental railway system through the Mackenzie Northern Railway which interchanges with CN in Edmonton. The Alaska Railroad is located farther north but is orphaned from the network. It is in the South Slave Region.

Hay River has a population of 3,510, and the nearby Hay River Reserve another 269, according to the 2001 Census. It is referred to as the Hub of the North since the town is capable of sending goods by land, air and water.

Originally the end of the Mackenzie Highway, the relatively short Highway 2 links the town with this important northern highway. Airport and railway also serve the town, and it is the trans-shipment location for river barges downstream to the Mackenzie Delta.

The First permanent settlement in the area of Hay River was established in what is now the Katl'odeeche Reserve. This was sometime between 1892-93. This first settlement was established by Chief Chiatlo and a group of people by the building of log cabins and bringing dairy cows.

Hay River is also the home of NHL forward Geoff Sanderson.

Correct.

Including the Geographical significance. It is the last railway bridge so to speak if you are going northwards in Canada.

I remember driving up that highway with a guy from the railway and it was completely sureal to a guy like me. Most of us have no idea what uninhabited really means. You can drive for an hour on that highway and not even see a mail box at the side of the road. The gas stations are automated at the side of the road every so often on your way up. The entire highway was covered in ice - IN OCTOBER and cars and trucks were just sliding off all over the place. I got home to Toronto and it was warm, the leaves were still on the trees (albeit orange), and people were walking around in their shorts.

Up there, I remember it was 9:00 a.m. and pitch black out.

Hay River surprised me because there was actually an apartment tower. I was thinking...."what, isn't there enough cheap land just to build out rather than up"

The lady running the motel was from Newfoundland and said to me, "Oh, another southerner hearing the call of the wild?" and I said to her, "Noway lady, just passing through"

Good Chinese food in town believe it or not. Town is just on either side of the highway. Usually when I am working on the road in small Canadian communities I avoid Chinese food like the plague, however, I had no choice in Hay River it seemed. It turned out well. Travelling tip for decent food in remote Quebec communities - When ordering dinner, order the pizza or a club sandwhich. For some reason, Quebecers love their pizza and usually make them fresh, so at least they are hot. (With tons of cheese)

Good work Leto, you're up.

I found some other pics.

Here is a weird one. It looks like the same bridge but the bridge for the cars looks like it has an overhead supporting structure. Maybe at one point it had one or mayebe it did not before but has one now:

And then I went to google maps to check it out (to see if Leto was correct - before JTK posted the confirmation)

Here it is from sattelite view

And from a little further up:

The old highway bridge has been demolished and replaced since that photo was taken I would guess....

Okay Bridge fiends,

Give this underside a shot:

* By the way, I make it a point to sample the local Chinese fare, in as many towns in Canada that I can. In fact, my wife and I are on the search for a town WITHOUT a Chinese restaurant. We think we may have found one in Herbert Saskatchewan...

I hate travelling for work SO much, it isn't funny. Wake up, 6:00 a.m. Breakfest 7:15, start work 8 a.m. Work till 5:00 p.m. catch cab to airport. Flight leaves Montreal 6:30, blah blah blah, walk in door at 9:30 p.m.

That's the big Anglican Church in Hamilton overlooking the QEW as you come into two town from the East. I think it's called Christ Church, but I also want to say St. Anne's.

When I was in HighSchool, the music teacher hired me to come down and record his choir performance there using his old Reel to Reel. I loaded it wrong and when I hit the button, the tape went spinning off the reel. It took me a couple of minutes to reset it, and he never quite looked at me the same again.

It is in Hamilton,

But, it is not Anglican.

Nor does it overlook the QEW

Nor is it called Christ Church (close though)

Refine your answers to be correct and you will be correct!

Very good....

Fresnelly was close, however, it is a CATHOLIC church (not Anglican). It overlooks HWY 403 (not the QEW), and the name of the Church is "Christ the King Cathedral"

Therefore, game on JJ Rouseau.....

It is indeed the Toronto City hall, but this is a view of the towers from the back - the Elizabeth street vantage point. The windows are all on the inner (front) curve of the buildings.
