'Amazing Race: Family Edition' in Toronto Next Week!
I also posted this in the show's official thread, but I wanted to mention it here so that those who haven't been following it would know too.
They don't say it, but If you watch next week's preview, you can clearly see a number of Toronto and Ontario locales: Pearson Intl. Airport Spadina Subway Station The old Silos at Queen's Quay and Bathurst A Harbourfront area parking lot A Circus school - Probably at Harbourfront The whirlpool 'Jet Boats' are on the Niagara River in Niagara On The Lake Bonus Canadian activity: Curling! This makes things much more exciting for me because I'll be able to yell "TURN LEFT, YOU IDIOTS!" at the TV . It's the 2 hour finale so check your listings.

I love the detour with the two popular sports in Canada. Curling and Log Rolling

I thought that both cities showed themselves very well, though seemingly devoid of people. According to CTV last night, they were in Toronto on July 31st. Did you notice that the first Toronto clue sent them to "la tour CN"? Why would they use the French name in an anglophone city? I like that somebody called it "the spire" The elevator operator at la tour, got in a good line about his job: "It has its ups and downs." It's probably something written in the employee manual, but it made me laugh.
