Does a camera magically protect you from tornadoes, or is this guy an idiot?

Well, as much as I morbidly like watching tornado footage...that was a little too much. I don't think I could continue to shoot if a tornado got that close to my house; no amateur 5'oclock news bit is worth that much. It's amazing to see houses totally destroyed and the one next door still standing intact.
