I'd say me, but I'm probably far too "non-liberal" on a lot of topics...I suppose you could call me a conservative, but that probably wouldn't be totally accurate.

I WOULD say me but I could never be happy with president. Just enough for a taste of power. If I was going that far I would have to go for total world domination. Course could do that then use the army to elimenate my enemys and get a puppet congress in there.... Excellent.

I don't like to vote without fully listening and understanding ones views, so... with that said, why don't we nominate some people and have them debate why they should become president..

To be President you have to be: natural born citizen, 35 or older.
Personally, I think you should have to be a veteran (preferably with combat experience) before you can be commander-in-chief. Make ya think twice before putting troops in a hazardous place. I'd vote for peetster.

I have a good list, because I've actually pondered this before and just judging on the people they are (without explanations for now at least), I'd love to see the following people running my country (this is in no particular order after the first five, but the first five are at the top because they are the first ones that come to my mind. Also, the first 5 are in no particular order among themselves.):
Xixox MrSelfDestruct Halx Artelevision Bones Flyman afraidofninjas SecretMethod70 rogue49 Azharen KillerYoda djp World's King (but I think he already holds that title, technically) BoCo uncle phil

While we have compiled an impressive list of candidates for the Oval Office...may I be the first to throw my name in to be Secretary of State? Secretary of the Treasury? Anything? Press Secretary?

Re: What TFP member do you think would have the best chance of getting elected Presid
All nice choices for the various reasons, but TerresqueÜ asked who would have the best chance getting elected. Seeing as how this country is being led by a moron, and the fact that maybe half the US voters wanted him, making them morons also, the intelligent members of TFP- meaning all who aren't banned(?) are woefully outnumbered.
Therefore, I nominate the little yellow duck, who probably goes by another name... Besides, would any of You really want such a crap job?! C'mon, aim high!! Quote:

Rogue49 for President.
Jadzia for Vice Pres. also, i think that these tfp'rs should have notable positions... Buddah - Secretary of State, Halx - White House Chief of Staff, World King - White House Press Secretary Killeryoda - Attorney General, Uncle Phil - Secretary for Veterans Affairs, and Meanspleen - Secretary for Homeland Security but while we're all planning a tfp world takeover, i'd also suggest... Macheath for Prime Minister of Australia, with the other Aussies tfp'rs like cchris, loki and the rest, filling out the front bench.
