Alrighty then, it's been suggested in the Calgary Rollcall thread and I'm making a thread for it.

Meet up at bars, as previously mentioned is a cliche.

BC/Stampeder game would be another idea on the 12th. Unfortunately, since I work fridays :(

Eskimos/Stampeder game would be even better and to kick it off, Sept 1st is Alberta Centiennal which is guarenteed to be helluva blast!

Bowling was mentioned as well.

Football sounds like a good idea, but we'd need to get a bunch of tickets in the same spot. I'll look into it, I have a bit of a connection.

But, realistically, our house just went on the market so my life will be in a bit of a turmoil until we sell this house and buy another. Shit, not the way I wanted to spend my summer, fixing up my house and packing to move. Oh well.

On the other hand, if anyone's looking for a cozy bungalow in Ramsay, le tme know! : ):)

The football game would be cool...feelgood - the game that night doesn't even start until 8 so maybe you could still make it?

Nah...that bites....you don't want to miss any of the game. Or the tail-gaiting! The September 5th game would be tres cool but difficult to get tickets for. I would maybe not even have all of mine as I have to share. *pout*

Firstly, yes, NTN is good after the game. I used to rule the NTN board at Melrose until I got a life. Now I don't think I've played for over a couple years.

And I'm with Minx on this, you don't miss the game to play games in a bar, you put the games in the bar on hold while you watch the game.

And, geez, now do I ever feel like a lamer! My bad. Mea Culpa. Whatever else makes me sound like a loser. I'm sure I could spare some time to get together with other local TFPers.

By the way Minx, I left a couple of comments on your other post (in the Ex. forum), hopefully to make you chuckle. I hope you will.

Well, to say some nice things too, but I digress.

Maybe if there are only 4 Calgary TFPers willing to go to the game on the 12, maybe if we ask really nic and proimise to buy Minx a coiuple of rounds and/or throw a few bucks int othe hat, she could bring her and three TFP Stamps fans.

What the hell is NTN?

Gaming found in Pubs. Most often it's trivia, but on Sundays during the season you can play QB1. If you are serious you can sign up for Players+ (free) and accumilate points for prizes.

NTN is cool. I'm a trivia freak so I like it.

And yes....still working on those tickets for the BC Calgary game......the trick is my boss wants to come. Bleh! :(
