What type of thumb do you have (poll)

While in chat, jericho and others decided it would be interesting to see just what type of thumb our fellow TFP'ers have. Mine is a 'hitch-hiker's thumb' meaning i can give the 'thumbs up' symbol and have my thumb parallel to the ground while a non-hitch-hiker thumb could only point straight up.

It's not as bad as some but it's still a hitch-hikers thumb.

I see no selection for double jointed thumb...my thumb can dislocate itself? I dunno how to describe it you've seen how some people can pop their bone out at the joint..mine does that..and I bend my thumb back rather freakishly hee hee Would that be a "hitchhikers thumb" by any chance?

Asta!!

Hitchhiker. The benefits are endless. I'd be lost without. The horrors of not being able to use thumb-tacks!

And it's a hitchhikers thumb...and I can touch my arm with thumb (which I would show you, but I don't have a camera).

My thumb is straight... though I can move my hand forward and have my thumb touch my wrist! Does that count?

The real question is what kind of nail to you have on your thumb? Is it a regular nail or one that makes your thumb look like a big-toe?

OK, in that case mine's straight at the first joint, but I'm doublejointed at the second, on both hands. I voted 'straight'.

You curved thumbed freaks!

The curved thumb is the mark of satan as foretold in the Book of Revelations. When he who has risen comes again, you will all perish in hellfire and brimstone.

Long live the straighter thumb!
