I guess everyone's heard by now, Paul Hester hanged himself in Melbourne the other day. I didn't know much of his music, really only the popular singles and the ones Crowded House are famous for, but I do fondly remember watching Hessie's Shed back in 98 or 99 and never missing an episode. I feel really sad about it

I'm in the same boat as you. Not really old enough to truelly appreciate crowded house and that other band I'd never heard of until the other day. Used to watch that show aswell.

Too true. Really sad to see his appearance on Rockwiz the following week - I heard it was only filmed a couple of weeks earlier. He was being a bit of a joker as usual and seemed to be enjoying himself...
