I'm somewhere in the 1 for 20 range right now. Anyone seen the prize distribution list this year? does Ontario get screwed again?

Because I don't have a car this winter, I find myself drinking a whole lot less Tim's. Thankfully there is a Tim's outlet on campus, where just this morning I had my second Tims of this campaign and discovered that I am a whopping 0 for 2!

I have won a total of 2 times out of at least 40 cups (2 cups per day every day, sometimes more on the weekends if I am buying coffee for the wife and hot chocolates for the kids). This has to be the worst year for wins I have ever had.

this is by far my worst year for roll up the rim. Have they lowered the chances of winning by chance? I'm still only at 3 wins for like 60-70+ coffee's

What a good weekend for me.
Friday evening I bought a coffee, and won a free coffee. Used the free coffee Friday night and won another free coffee. Used that Saturday morning and... won a free coffee. Used that Saturday night and... yup won a free coffee. Still have the stub in my wallet to use today on the way to work :thumbsup: |

I am at like 0 for 30...i think they need to look at there odds...I think they are a tad wrong..supposed to be 1 in 9...yeah right...last year I never won anything either...

It isn't even funny anymore. I have gone the entirety of the last two years and this year without a single win. It is a 5+ per week habit, last year was more. People all around me are winning. I have to be approaching 0 for 200.

Last Friday, an employee of my company went across the street to the very same Tim's that I have spent the majority of my loose change at, and won a car.
This was at the Tim's on Victoria Park, just south of Sheppard in Toronto. |
0 for 30 then won a coffee at 31 and a donut at 34. That's all I've won and tonight I was at 72 buys. That is a 1/36 odds pace, four times worse than the advertised 1/9 odds.

I agree, maybe we should adopt an easily recognizable article of clothing. Something like a red or blue bandana may work... Or a lapel sticker that say's Hello, I'm on TFP.....

I had seen on the news a little plastic contraption made specifically to roll up the rim on Timmy's coffee. I thought it was fantastically Canadian. And I know this is old, but I'm a new poster (although a long time reader). I love those things where you just shake your head and say, only in Canada.

On Sticky's comment... apparently Coffee Time has launched a similar roll up the rim campaign but has also said they will give a free coffee to anyone presenting them with a losing Tim Horton's cup. |
