This sounds very similar to something I read recently... some dude did that, or a variation of that (mighta been $1 bill). I think he had a few up; one went for above face value, but the others did not. Pretty wacky!

You would probably get a few emails/questions from collectors about it. Is is a U.S. Note? Is it a silver certificate? What is the condition of the bill? What year was it printed?

A real quick story on how intelligent some people on E-bay are...

One of my friends took a couple of pictures of himself and autographed them. He slapped them up on E-bay and had a couple friends get the price up... In the description he had "Autographed by "Chris C_____"

One sold for over $80... I never ceases to amaze me what people will buy...
