Xoltos are the Aztec War Dog - Sort of like a giant chihuahua with a good attitude. Not to be despised (though perhaps to be mocked.)

Salukis are also called Arabian Greyhounds. They are the second fastest (after greyhounds) dogs in the world. Little high strung, though.
