high_way on well... the high way
 

well guys the big day has finally come, i go on my road trip on friday. i leave home (townsville) with a friend and we then meet up with another friend of mine in rockhampton on friday and stay in rocky friday night. we then leave rocky on saturday morning and head straight for the gold coast and the BIG DAY OUT!!!

i then spend monday and monday night in brisbane with my friend then head back to rockhampton on tuesday while my friend gets herself a room and stays in brisbane and plays with her friends.

tuesday, wednesday and thrusday are spent drinking and partying with my mate in rocky (we are having a Triple J hottest 100 party on wednesday :thumbsup: :D ) and just having fun like we did last time we saw each other.

my friend then comes up to us in rocky sometime on thursday and we leave some time on friday (tear:() and get back in home late friday after a great fucken week away.

well thats my story. i will have pics etc when i get back but probably wont be around for the next week or so.

If I ever drive out in the country I go about 140-150 in 100-110 zones, and I haven't yet been caught because I have a radar detector. It's a bitch using your handbrake to slow down there when you're going 150.

yeah i know mate... its all good, i dont plan on speeding.. just my weird sence of humour.

on the other note, how do i get a radar detector?

Shit, I needed one when I was doing 180 along the Calder Fwy in a hired Saab 9-5 last week. I'm pretty sure I didn't get caught...

yeah, but the only thing i can see wrong with them is that i think that the cops now use infered speed cameras, and if this is true they wont work. the old speed cameras would send out radio waves which you could pick up.

the only way to get around infered is to get anti-reflecting paint... but you get caught either way when they point it at you and it dont work...

hey all in rockhampton tonight for a few days. big day out was a fucken blast. best band for me was the (jon spencer) blues explosion. best stage acts were the hives and regurgitator. best unknown was the red paintings. they had people come out and paint while they were playing. fucken great.

I've seen the Red Paintings before. They played at my uni a few years back.. very.. .interesting. Kind of cool, though.

hey guys well im back from my holiday. had a great time at the big day out and spending some time with my friend that went down with me before going back to rockhampton for a couple of days to hang out with my other mate. spent australia day drinking and smoking and having a blast and the rest of the time either drinking of trying to jam with my mates some how. didnt go half bad on the drums either.
