the fiber optic Xmas tree
It's not a photo of my tree, but it's the same nonetheless. A real tree is not practical in my apartment. Guess it's fitting for San Jose. Last edited by Coppertop; 12-22-2004 at 05:35 PM.. Reason: words and stuff |

Cool looking tree, Munky.
What's the long present under there? A Red Ryder BB gun perhaps? Unfortunately, since we're moving we didn't put one up this year. But here's a tree gif to appease you.

Do you know if it's the artist's style to paint like that? Or if they're a one time set?

Fremen, i realy don't know anything about the artist. i bought these at an italian furniture store & they did tell me these were actual paintings, but reproductions... (reproductions of which original artist or pieces, i have no idea!) the cat one is signed W.David. the dog one just has some initals & some cryptic roman numbers... there were other paintings in a similar style, but they were abstract people faces not animals. next time i go to los gatos, i intend to go back to the store & inquire a bit more about these paintings. i had intended to hang these in my living room once it is finished, but now that i've hung them in my kitchen, i like them just where they are! so, i also want to see if i can acquire a couple others now for the living room. a bunny rabbit or a cow or some other animal would be ideal, but who knows what might be available?! the people faces ones were nice, but i don't want them for my home. i think i'll take my camera with me when i hit the store.
oh & our back porch tree, we've had for years! ever since it was a tiny table top size tree. i'm so proud that i've managed to keep it alive all these years! where's everybody else's christmas trees? munky's & fly's are both hott shizzles!! the others are the shit, too, but i am having trouble believing that those are really theirs.
