If you ever read Rob Cockerham's site -- www.cockeyed.com -- you may have already seen this idea there.

If you search on Google for image numbers such that a digital camera generates you can find tons of hi-res and vaugly interesting images.

Try these formats:

img_***
dsc***

Replace the *** with digits and you get fun stuff like this:

For a quicker way to do this, check out the Random Personal Picture Finder (tm). It'll pick a random photofiletype and number, and Google image search the results. For example, pict0148.jpg got me this lovely lady:
