Consider that his name contains an underscore, marring the perfect line from letter to letter and sowing confusion as to pronunciation. Is it a part of a letter that is too terrible to behold? Is it an "l" than he has killed an lain between the letters of his name. We cannot know, but either is an act of abject disregard for the value of typography.
