Teacher revenge
Recently a professor at school was being a bitch to me and a few friends for goofing around in class one day. How can we get back at her? The main thing is that we're discreet.
(ugly btw, so don't even start with the "get porn of her" posts) thanks in advance

Of course you and your friends weren't wrong for goofing around... it's all your professor's fault. Why don't you blame your parents while your at it... or blame the department chairperson... I'm sure it was their fault your professor was upset with you goofing around in class...
And by "getting back at her", you'll be digging yourself a deeper hole... Just let it go. You misbehaved. You were caught. Let it go, and don't do it again. Start acting like an adult and take responsibility for your actions. |

Do you know how much effort they put into those classes?
How much paperwork and shit? How it gets reviewed by administrative staff? Of course, she going to be a bitch, and I'm sure this isn't the first time she mentioned it to you. You are there to at least just sit quietly, so you don't disturb the others, much less learn something yourself. Grow up, leave it alone, get out of class, it's almost summer. Go run along and play. Wait until after you are out of the school before thinking of doing anything - by that time you will probably have forgotten about the whole thing. It may feel refreshing to hose her over, but those in a position of unchecked power have a way of repaying you in bad ways.

I have to agree with sbscout... did you ever think of actually behaving? I bet that thought never crossed your mind... If you actually behaved in class, the teacher might actually not be a bitch towards you. This is the most useful advice you're ever going to get. Six different people have already told you to let it go. Doing anything to your teacher is beyond childish and immature, and can destroy your future. Isn't graduation right around the corner? |

the best way to get back at a hs teacher is as follows
listen to what she teaches, know it, then, repeatedly ask questions that are RELEVANT but she wont kno the answer. Best in like a government class where you disagree, by simply being informed and asking questions you can bvack someone into a corner where they have to admit they are wrong. everyone hates that, and i have found teachers hate it worse then most...especialy in front of kids they NEED the respect of to run an even semi-productive class works wonders...usualy they start trying to ignore you, hoping not to be shown up again... however some teachers like the fact that your participating...its a gamble (either way you learn something, so the class doesnt end up being a complete waste of time) |

It sounds to me like you misbehaved or were disuptive and you were caught. You are further influenced by this person's appearance. Just because they are, as you say, "ugly btw" doesn't make them any less your mentor. I think you owe an apology here.

You could try swiping an extra milk, or just pretending to be asleep at nap time, or cutting in line at the drinking fountain, or coming in late for recess, or...oh, that's right you're not in kindergarten; you're in high school. In that case, try acting your age.

I had an obsessive compulsive geometry teacher in high school. She made my life miserable so I decided to do the same to her. Every day, I would bring a little packet of salt back from the cafeteria which, I fed to her plants. When they started to die, she began watering them several times even during the course of one class period and I am sure that her fussing with them was what ultimately killed them. She couldn't leave them alone.
You could: superglue a quarter to the ground next to her desk. Pretend you have turrets. Dip the chalk in acid. Use a programmable remote to screw with the tv. Toss a fish in her desk. Play tuba music every time she starts walking around. Or (my personal favorite): Demonstrate how worthless her class is by not going, and then doing well on the tests.

Any of you guys suggesting to actually do something to a teacher should be ashamed of yourselves. Teachers are people too and they have good days and bad days like everyone else. Teachers are not robots and they have emotions. You try being on stage for 7-8 hours per day in front of countless faces with eyes, ears, and minds tuned into you and deal with their immaturity all the time on top of teaching curricula. If you have a problem with a teacher, be a man and come in and talk about it. I'm a teacher and I am disgusted by this thread. It is very hard sometimes to hide your feelings when it's time to teach. Sometimes it's even hard to get up in the morning and face the world. Did you ever consider that your teacher might be having a really bad time with life right now and what you would do to this teacher might send her over the edge?
Please again keep in mind teachers are human and have feelings and have stress just like evryone else. Not only are we responsible for your education, but also your safety . In some cases, we have to take the place of parents in the values and ethics department. Just think before you act. Thanks...Class dismissed.
