Go the Bulldogs
Any NRL followers here? I am a big bulldogs fan, and will be perched high in Telstra stadium tonight to (hopefully) watch them flog the Roosters!

Big Bulldogs fan here. The Doggies will kill them, we were a shoe-in anyway, but the tribuneral made it certain. You can't take a bloke who averages around 40 tackles a game out and expect to beat the Bulldogs' forward pack.
I loved Ricketson's defence: You shouldn't be allowed to suspend players from Grand Finals. Wow, lets do that, and while we're there, might as well no even have refs for the prelims

I just read that Katie Noonan...singer of 'George' and possessor of one of the most incredible voices I've ever heard will be singing the Australian anthem. Then again, I could tune into Idol and hear the Idol wannabees slaughter two George songs.
I'll think about that one....

I didn't know that she was going to sing the National Anthem, but Katie Noonan did a great job. One of the best versions since Julie Anthony. And Chris Isaak pre-game was a hundred times better than Meatloaf and Billy Idol
Overall the grand final was a great game, but not as good as last year. Pity that Freddy couldn't go out on a winning note, but it didn't really worry me, because when Andrew Johns is back the Knights will win next year anyway!!! |

why the FUCK do we need to have these seppo musicians playing at these grand finals.
don't get me wrong, i like Chris Isaak, but seriously, why can't some great aussie band like the Cruel Sea play. that would be MUCH more appropriate. about Katie Noonan.. she's great, and i'm also really pleased that some televised eisteddfod person didn't get the honour. as for the game, well its only league so i really couldn't care, but its interesting to see the blue/white westie rapists beating the red/white/blue eastern suburbs rich kids.

Ricketson is the only Eastern Suburbs junior that plays for them these days, and he wasn't on the field, so it was pretty much the westie hangi builders versus the players formally known as westie Torana drivers.
I'm a Bulldogs man so I was rapt with the result, but 15 handling errors each highlighted the fact that it was a very poor standard match. The Cowboys would've been spewing as they would've killed both those sides last night.

Well, I have no voice left - yelled myself hoarse in the upper stands. Raining from the beginning of Chris Isaaks until half time - so no surprise about the handling errors.
The bulldogs did me proud!
