Here's another non-sexism: when I first experienced the idea of field hockey I was surprized to find it played only by girls...by boys in the larger cities, yes, but I thought that was just metro.

Sometimes the locals spell it Soo. French is ok even here, right? The Sioux were farther west, I think. ...having (grown up) somewhere within their former homeland...i thought it was so with a long "O" at first.
