Trust me Fly, the hardest drive I've ever had to make is this one to Calgary.....

Fly, I DO want to stay. Like... you wouldn't BELIEVE how badly I want to stay. I tried missing my flight, believe me.

I was the red-eyed, crying girl both in line for customs, security, and on the entire flight to Seattle. I'm in Seattle now, trying not to cry as I wait for my next flight, and believe me, odds are I'll be in tears on that one too.

Phil, yes, he's currently making the trek across Canada to see his parents and handle some things, but hopefully mid June he'll be here with me.

sillygirl, we manufacture & sell a product that is very beneficial on solar panels that heat water, and the company we're visiting in Tampa is one of the key systems designer and installer training centers. So we're going there to hear their spiel and give them ours. The manager there already told me they use over 5000 annually of a "competitive" product that he hates, as do most people who use it...we're in like flint!

Hey, who wants to be in charge of distracting me today? I am pathetically missing my man and I have an interview for a permanent position that I *reeeeeeally* want here wihin the company. Not to mention, I need a perm position, as I am a temp right now. And it is in my field of expertise, you could say, and in the field I loved before I chose to stay home with my kids. I haven't had a real job interview in about 4 years and am nervous as hell.

It's really overcast and windy today, which suits my mood.

So please, someone cheer me up... without using nudie pics...

I'll do it in a few minutes, when I return to the house, if I can use my son's laptop.

Lol thanks. The day is almost over. It rained, which in az terms means 'it sprinkled a bit, everyone freak out!!!' I think I killed my interview.

Three good things about today, in the spirit of Take 3: The weather is great, especially for May, Jay's drive is almost over, and I get my kids tonight!

The trek from Alberta to Ontario is done, 16 hours of driving today, and I get to see my girl again, even if it is just on webcam.....

sillygirl, if by "killed my interview" you mean you did well, congrats and good luck. If by that you mean you blew it, good luck anyway since sometimes a smart interviewer might see past a nervous interviewee and see the beauty and potential of the person.

My mention above of solar energy plus the sunny disposition of my fellow posters here made me remember that "sunshine came softly though my window today".
