I would LOVE to make my backyard beautiful again. However, I have a Goldendoodle who disagrees with me

Abbey only farts if we put her on different food.
OCM, I completely agree with you. This dog is creating a swift path out of our home, if you know what I mean. She's been destroying baby stuff and only baby stuff. Well, and the backyard. But I honestly don't think she's dug any new holes in a while. Seriously, between the two dogs, our practically pristine backyard has been turned into a warzone. It makes me so sad, because I want to take aric outside. It's been really hard training her, and even though people keep telling me that once she's two both sides of her brain will magically connect and she'll be great, it's just getting kinda pricey trying to hold out. She's even kenneled when we leave. Sneaky bitch waits til you're not looking.

Dog training is time- and labor-intensive. With a small boy as well...good luck.
But check this out; it's another sneaky bitch story of a sort. My daughter asked if she could foster a dog. (We already had one, the angel Labrador of which I've spoken) "OK," I said, unaware that two weeks later when I asked why the thing hadn't gone back that I'd hear: "You didn't think I was going to foster her and not adopt her, did you?" To make this short, I asked her to leave and she did, for several months and changes and difficulties, then ended back home with a menagerie, including the same untrained dog. It's been sixteen months, (it was supposed to be one) the damn thing still pees and poops in the house, and my daughter's been touring Peru for the past two weeks. If I make noise my place here gets threatened and (damnitall) I think this dog and I may have been in the bardo together. The labrador has endured, but his behavior has, shall we say, not improved. Sorry for venting like that... Train the dog if you want her.

jay, that looks like jesus with a cigarette - !?! Excellent pictures!
Thanks for the perspective, sillygirl. I'd like to keep her cat because he's a very cool Mainecoon, even though he drives my cat crazy.
