ouch
What's the worst physical pain you have ever felt?
For me it was when I was hit in the balls by a lacrosse ball. |
hmmm, cant really say it hurt to bad, but i cut my leg on a little piece of glass, i was bleeding a lot, i hit my little toe on the frame of a door once...OUCH!
|
My pliers slipped, and I ended up jamming a small chunk of skin in there. That hurt
|
I broke my thumb bone in half, and at the same time it partially ripped out of it's socket. D'oh!
|
staying with the stuff that won't make you guys go 'eeeeeeeewwwwww' i'll say hitting a park vehicle (van) knee first while going about 15 mph.
imy wheelchair shut down. totally.. on a deep incline... gravity can suck.. broke my femur in two places, busted my left leg up and cracked my head open. Good times, good times.. |
Well just about any pressure point in martial arts class fits in this category. many of them hurt more than you can imagine.. until you stop.. and then you wonder why were about to cry from the pain. hehe
I've been hit with a baseball bat, but it KO'd me so i guess that doesn't count. That means I'd have to go with the time in elementary school when i was running from the girls (we'd make them chase us :D) and then my shoe flipped off my foot landed RIGHT in front of me and thus i tripped over my shoe... Flying Forehead first into the pavement... I had one helluva mark left there. Last year on a motorcycle ride, I accidently rested the side of my leg on the exaust pipe..and the bike had already been in use for a while. Nice scar. To top it off.. I couldn't go into any houses for at least 15 minutes as we were in the middle of the ride. |
I had a skateboarding accident in '96 and shredded all the skin off the bottom of my forearm when I hit a (brand new and rough) sidewalk at about 30mph. The pain lasted for 3 months solid, but didn't require and surgery.
|
The worst I think is falling down the stairs and bruising my tailbone....other wise it was getting the skin ripped off thats between my index finger and thumb...i'm too damn accident prone.
|
Getting kicked by a horse...
|
Just before I stopped drinking a lot, my stomache was in constant pain from an ulcer. Puking up blood is no way to spend the holidays.
|
ok, so I know this isnt the "you are wrong" thread, but Ive got to say, vermin, that you are wrong. Puking up blood is exactly the best way to spend the holidays. That is, if your family is anything like my family. Puking up blood is much more enjoyable than some of the family get-togethers Ive experienced.
any, worst pain for me: broken arm, age 5 routered the end of my left ring finger in high school. have no fingerprint there anymore. been kicked/punched/thumped in the nuts a few times - there is no worse pain imaginable than that. |
A 1.5 tonne steam roller passed over part of my foot. I was wearing steel toes but it passed over part of my ankle. Amazingly no bones busted but that fuckin foot was agonizing. Then it swelled up and stayed that way for months.
|
The first time I busted my nose. The next day I went to the doctor and he put this skinny steel rod up there and pushed it back into place while telling me I'd feel a `little' discomfort. I've broken it three times since but never went back to that asshole. Probably should do something, it is pretty crooked.
|
I slid into the post of a Soccer goal once and brokee my femur. It came clear through the skin. I couldn't walk for quite some time.
|
During a hospital stay when I was 10 years old, a nurse trying to put in a catheter that was too big.
|
I stabbed the tip of my middle finger with fiskars (scissors). I got 2 stitches. Ok, I didn't exactly die but damn fingertips sure are sensitive.
|
pain? real men don't feel pain.
and if that is the case... then i'd have to say paper cuts. even though they don't hurt per se, they sting like a mofo and i think i'd take my broken leg over a paper cut any day. |
I had two of my fingers smashed in a door, lost both of the fingernails which was painful for a month
I also got hit in the head with a 5lb weight thrown at me. It was really painful but only hurt for maybe 3-4 hours. |
Menstrual cramps. (Hey, you asked.)
Falling off my bike and skinning my legs up. Getting hit in the nose with a hard plastic ball. Getting hit in the breasts and crotch with volleyballs, soccerballs, footballs, softballs, and medicine balls. Falling out of a tree. Losing my virginity. (OMG) Yeah. I can't pick the worst out of those for some reason, so I listed them all. I'm sure there's others I forgot. |
Internal hernia from the groin to scrotum.
Suffered from taking a hit into the boards playing hockey, I ended up doing the splits (trust me, I can't). Very painful and not fun. |
When I cut the fingers off on my left hand hurt a lot. The real pain came when they put them back on.
|
having my foot crushed by a backhoe shovel...then it pinned my foot against a tree.
|
In the dojo: (no padding/protective gear)
Worst --> Full force finger jab to the front of my throat, right in the center, just above the collar bone. Couldn't breath for about 20 seconds, and had a hard time swallowing anything for a week. God that hurt. Getting hit in the throat is a very unique pain that I hope none of you will ever experience. A few others that weren't as bad... I was sparring this guy, and we both went for a round kick to the head at the same time. Knee to knee hit, wasn't pretty. First month of martial arts some moron, who had no control, put me in a wrist lock, and instead of going through the movements of a take down, he went all out. Tore a tendon and a few ligaments on the left side of my left wrist. Happened 6 years ago and its still a little tender. Full force heel kick to the side of my head. Jong bong (boa staff) to the eyebrow. Some students need to work on their grip. Grappling with a ground fighting instructor/US Special Forces guy. He got me in a strangle hold, but I had some leverage with my hand, so instead of choking me out he pulled my head back to the side. Heard my spine pop all the way up, and I couldn't turn my head left for two days. Aside from rolling my ankle while running a few times, those are a some of the worst. Edit: Learning (to put it lightly) how to do the splits. Longest 30 seconds I'll ever know. :hmm: |
