I have missed one show during the last 5 years, this is like THE event for Nofuncouver. I mean, no fireworks for Canada Day, wtf?

I just wish I could go to the indy :( If only I had money, ohwell... busy time eh.. this fireworks thing, the indy, caribean festival days (wtf its canada)

What did everyone think of China? I thought they were only ok, the ending was pretty good but there weren't really any "HOLY SHIT" moments. I'm looking forward to seeing what Sweden can do seeing as it's their first time here.

might try and catch the show tonight.........maybe i'll see you there........look for the stupid tan line eh.

Man, this makes me miss Vancouver (and the West Coast in general) even more. I've always loved the Festival of Lights.

Holy shit... sweden's show was AMAZING

AMAAAAAZING

shit, so good... such good music, perfectly timed

Sweden = Best fucking fireworks I've ever seen!

The beginning and endings were just wow. And I loved how they actually had interesting fireworks down low, rather than typical boring roman candle looking ones, so you're watching those intently, and all of a sudden BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM shitloads explode up high that you weren't expecting. And other than an iffy choice of Unchained Melody I have to agree the music was awesome, and the timing was impeccable.

Yeah, that and Amazing Grace... but it was a nice changeup from the "ride of the valkyries" type classical they are usually set to... I didn't mind the choice

Sweden had a much better showing than China IMO! To be honest China kind of bored me, but Sweden... WOW, there were quite a few of those ooooooohhhhh' and awwwwwwwww' parts that everyone loves! ;)

Spain = meh... until the finale - i think fallenangel capped a vid, hopefully she can get it hosted somewhere so you guys can see

I agree with ya on Spain, they were kinda slow, but I got to work on the cleanup of the barge afterwards and found out that this is a new Spanish team and it's their first outing. The slowness worked out nicely though since it meant less work to do ;)
