Now we won't be able to tell the difference between regular piss and horse piss. Bah,...where's my Keith's.
|
Noooooo!
Oh wait.. I dont drink Molsons.. *whew* that was close |
well not a canadian drinker myself (Bass Ale, 50 ale, and moosehead) seems like an odd merger. anything for the almighty dollar. there commericals will have to change. love the i am sorta canadian line.:D
|
damnt! now what am I going to do with my I AM CANADIAN underwear :(
|
It means nothing really. Interbrew owns Labatts - does your 50 or Blue taste any different? Of course not.
I personally drink Keith's but I could care less if it is owned by a wee Scotsman in Nova Scotia or a Japanese conglomerate. |
I drink Unibrew's tasty beverages and rotate in whatever import or microbrew piques my curiosity...
Currently my fridge is stocked with: 12 Maudit 12 Touborg 12 Red Cap (stubbies... yay!) All icy cold and waiting for me to consume... I haven't made a practice of drinking Molson or Labbat's (except for their licensed brews like Corona) in an age... unless my Father in law offers me a beer... then there is a good chance I'll be drinking Blue or Canadian... |

I just find it ironic that Molson, while running their "we're better than you" ad campaign which was actually made by an american ad company, might become a little less "Canadian", at least in ownership. |
the two companies are already in a sense merged.....
Coors light is sold here in Canada, and is brewed by molson, not coors. It does actually taste different in the two countries. My mom preferes the US made on though. |
I heard on the news that each company will keep its identity in its market, but even with the merger, its still at risk of being bought out by Miller or Heineken.
|
Personally I love it, it means that I can now say I work for the biggest Canadian brewery :)
