Sure, this thread'll die before it begins but once again we've been lumped in with the Aussies! I bet if you took a survey most respondants would tell you that NZ was a state in Oz.

Well, not only was New Zealand the place where I was married (yeah, so the marriage didn't last....I can hardly blame the country, can I?), it also gave birth to the wonderful record label 'Flying Nun Records' and all the cool grooves it brought us.

Not familiar with Wildside, but was dabbling in music writing circa 1991-92 when Mushroom started distributing Flying Nun in Oz and scored quite a few choice discs...standouts are Chills, Straitjacket Fits and the Bats. Saw the first two when they toured here as well, and they played some incredibly decent shows.

I'm sure you'll let us know and you must admit after all the horrible things you have told me over the years about Aussie's, it must be horrible for a Kiwi to be born abroad in Oz of all places, right? ;)
