29. You often switch from "heat" to "a/c" in your car in the same day.
30. You use a down comforter in the summer.
31. You carry jumper cables in your car and your wife knows how to use them.
32. You design your kid's Halloween costume to fit under a raincoat.
33. You know all the important seasons: Almost Winter, Winter, Still Raining (Spring), Road Construction (Summer) & Raining Again (Fall).

I don't know how far it is from Kamloops to PG, but I do know its around 6-8 hours depending on how fast you drive

Every "You might be from ___ if" list I've seen includes "you measure distance in hours". I think it's a pretty universal thing. Only places I've been where people don't do that are major metropolitan areas, because with traffic it could be 15 mins, could be 2 hours.

I think the title should have been "You know you are from the lower mainland (Vancouver area) when." While some points are correct the rain thing does not necessarily apply to the entire province.

It's a shame most people think that the wet part of the coast is all there is....time for a few people to do a little traveling away from the lower wasteland...
Vancouver is not BC.

Thanks FA, thats awesome. They are so true for Vancouver and lower mainland folks. Some of them are true for the rest of BC too tho. Like the first one.

Haha, you guys take me way too seriously. I got it as an email, thought it would give a few people a few kicks. Not to be taken to heart folks I've only been in Vancouver for a few months, i'm originally from the Interior, so I KNOW that it doesn't count for all of BC, and i know that Vancouver isn't BC lol :Crazy:
