canadiens and canabis ???
... may I ask a silly question only a north european could ask in this thread ...
what is the thing about canadiens and canabis ??? wast country, rural culture, home-growing nation ? tell me the whole thing! ... thanks ! citrid ps: smoking myself ... in germany ... or even elsewhere :) edit: ... right now |
uh i didnt know canadians had a name for weed! we grow TONS of it in BC and aparently its some of the best there is! thats all i know and hope it helps!
|
i just know that it's been legalized(you don't get put in jail for a small amount). and i know that everyone smokes it. and BC's weed is some of the best.
|
The quantity and quality of British Colombian weed are both in excess. By the books, the province of BC is operating at a deficiet, but black market trade more than makes up for that 1 billion and some loss.
|
*sneaks in*
hehehehehehe.............. good pot |
Yeah if you hold what... 0.5 grams of weed or less you can't get busted for it?
|
We do the best bud and its easy to get an fairly cheap here
|
Fairly cheap? if you know anyone who deals you can score it for practically zilch
especially if they are drunk at the time "How much for this massive bud?" "uhhhh i dunno I don't have a scale" "guess" "10 bucks" |
I dunno, but in Victoira, BC we can get away with up to 10g, at least the cops who searched us weren't huge assholes. They were cool, and didn't confiscate it.

There was a supreme court case that struck down part of our Cannibis law (namely, possession of small quantities).
As usual in Canadian supreme court cases of this kind, they gave parliament a deadline to fix up the law. Parliament slacked off, and the deadline passed: resulting in the entire law being no longer enforceable. In effect, while the law against possessing small quantities of weed is currently on the books, and you can be charged with it, you have the backing of the supreme court when it goes to trial. Sort of a wierd state. Police in some areas aren't bothering to arrest under this non-crime crime. The legalization of pot for medical use has occured, and is also causing some strange precidents. At one point, the government allowed doctors to perscribe pot, but nobody was legally allowed to grow it, and judges bonked the government on the head for it. The use of weed isn't extremely common, but it isn't extremely rare. I know pot heads, ex pot-heads, and people who have never touched the stuff. I also know people who drink alot of beer, people who used to drink alot of beer, and people who have never touched the stuff. (admittedly, there are far fewer never-drinkers than never-weeders). In some circles, smoking cigarettes is considered alot more anti-social than smoking pot. Those who sell pot are still committing a crime in Canada. |
Canada is alright. Liberal pot and marriage laws, socialized medicine, ice hockey, hot women...
Damn man, how do I defect? |

lol, sorry, I had to. Just too good to pass up. :) |

And if that's not illegal, what if I give it away and get a few sizable donations to my local charity, entitled "The co-op of relaxation"? |

And using accounting tricks to avoid "selling" it is a good way to go to jail for both accounting fraud and trafficing. =) |
I love the fact that the Canadian government grows "medicinal pot" in an abandoned mine in Flin Flon, Manitoba...
Cracks me up, everytime. |

they just have to market it like tylenol or aspirin........
give the people a choice. oh right.........then the big drug companies would go outta buisness. .....you know.......the pharmacuticals made by man. i'll take mother nature any day. black market or not. |
If were up to just Canada I'm sure it would be totally legal by now but there is too much pressure from the US not to.
As the borders are still closed to most of our beef and threats of a tightening border should Canada legalize pot, our government doesn't have a lot of choice but try to avoid the issue. It's pretty screwed up that the US is making such a big deal about our pot when all their cocaine and what not causes far worse issues. All in all the issues the marajuana trade causes is pretty small in comparison to the far greater problems other drugs cause, it's simply a waste of resources busting people for pot. And contrary to what everyone belives pot is not a gateway drug leading to much worse habits. That is a statement used by weak individuals as an excuse to why they ruined their life, and by individuals who know nothing about it. IMO!! |
