Quarter Final 2: "Finding Nemo" -v- "The Lion King"


In round 1 Nemo overcame Spiderman in a close (20-14) tie. The Lion King had an even closer encounter (18-13) with The Matrix Reloaded to set up the first (and last) all animated tie of the tournament.

Although I loved Lion King when I was little and it was good, I've seen Finding Nemo and it's better. But that doesn't mean I didn't like the Lion king. But how fair is that question anyway? You're comparing a newer movie to one made when I was like 12 or 13.

I really didn't like either of these films especially, but I disliked the Lion King less.

Nemo!

Not much of a Lion King fan...

Finding nemo. I actually like that film.

ooh, looks like i'm backing the underdog here.
i'm going with Lion King... undoubtably disneys greatest achievement.

i'm also a fan of the dirty sexual undertones this film carries... hmmmm, lions... hmmm...

Lion King all the way! Much better than Nemo in my opinion, and it made for a great broadway show! :p

Finding Nemo was much cooler animationwise, I thought both stories were, frankly, overly-sentimental crap.

So I'll go with Nemo.

Lion King. I like Finding Nemo, but I loved the Lion King when I was a kid, so that gets my vote.

Lion King over Finding Nemo for me. I like the drawn-by-hand look and I thought the cinematics were amazing.

I'd like to find Nemo and eat him, battered, with chips.

I'll go with the Lion King... Finding Nemo was just that much more annoying than The Lion King

Finding Nemo = Best, movie, evar. Well, except for Blood Sport, but I can't pick that one.

Come on we need more votes for Lion King! We need someone to whip these stupid LOTR movies. God LOTR Blows!
