That's a toughie. I like both equally, but have to go with E.T.

I really hated Forest Gump... so ET gets the vote

I never understood what the big deal was with Forest Gump....go ET!!!

Apparently the Forrest Gump fans aren't speaking up. I'm also voting for E.T. just so long as the government agents have guns and not walkie talkies.

I had to vote Gump in this round, even though I thought E.T. would've stood a better chance against Star Wars in the next round.

Sorry all, but Forrest Gump appealed to the pansies, while E.T. was a great story.

Damn, that's a real difficult one...

i've actually had to think like five minutes or so.. but at the end, youth-sentimentalism won: the little cute green guy...
I luuuuuuuuvvveeeeeddd him (must have seen E.T. over a dozen times now, and i still get mellow when he "dies")

Gotta go with the Gump.

Saw it once and hated nearly all of Forrest Gump. The effects were worth watching, but everything else in it killed it.

The original E.T. gets my vote. The recent fucked-up rerelease belongs in the trash bin with the Stars Wars Ep. 4 rerelease (and the first two prequels).

Forrest Gump. I loved that movie. Hated every second of E.T., not sure why. Just couldnt sit through it.

Loved E.T., liked Gump, didn't like Jenny.

I haven't seen ET in a long time, but I feel that Gump is a better movie. Tom Hanks does some brilliant acting, and the story itself is very touching. I suppose the same could be said about ET's story, but to me, it was just another kid movie.

I would choose ET if it wasn't such a terrible movie, so I guess I will go with Gump.
