I was so more into The Matrix. I think Lion King was good, but Matrix is way better.

As a trilogy The Matrix would get my vote over Lion King in a heartbeat, but we're not talkin' bout trilogies here.

Like many others I bought into the hype around this film, only to be heavily let down inside the theatre.

I'd rather be watching The Lion King... with the volume off.

I too shall vote the Matrix - even if it was a letdown, at least there was some decent eye-candy in it.

Lion King is a classic. Lots to learn from it. Long live the King!

This is a tough one because the movies are so vastly different, and each is great in its respective genre. I went with Matrix though because overall I find it to be a better movie.

hard call - never have seen Lion King and the first Matrix sequel completely sucked aside from a few effects scenes. Have to abstain here due...no on second thought will vote for Matrix Reloaded for the excellent effects alone. Not planning on sitting through Lion King anytime this century though.

I love the Matrix Trilogy, but I'm not even going to say it's a better film than the Lion King.

I didn't see the Matrix Reloaded, and I don't really remember what the first movie was about. So I had to judge by how annoying the fans are. Maxtrix fans are WAY more annoying than Lion King fans. So the Lion King gets my vote.

i'm surprised this is so close.

i was expecting a jungle style walkover.

i also figured that if it were the first matrix movie, it may have a chance of topping Disneys greatest achievement... but no, its only the second.

to me, the second matrix was the beginning of the end of a great idea.

my votes with the Lion King.
