Dang.. This always happens to me for movie voting brackets..

Theres always a good 50% or more I never would have put on that list.

So who got to pick who's the top 16 there?

The IMDB all time worldwide box office takings.

The only fair way judge how good a film is, right?

Wouldnt it have been best to use top RANKING, and not top money making?

Ah well, I'll still vote the whole way though either way :P

Woohoo!! I just put Titanic ahead by 1! I know it won't last though. Titanic is one of those movies everyone seems to love to hate.

I am not much help here as I have never seen any Harry Potter movie, but Titanic was so awful that the other option would almost have to be better.
-slightly offtopic- Just thought of that amusing t-shirthell.com shirt: "Harrys a pothead and the Sorcerer's stoned"
edit: never have seen Lion King either

that would be the proper way to judge how popular a film was, not how good it was.
For instance Falling Down with Michael Douglas is far better (IMO) than some (edit: actually most if not all of those) of the other live action films listed, but made far less money. Which is course brings up the point of opinion; how much a film made, even if it was awful, is a tangible basis whereas everyone has their likes and dislikes in the cinema.
My personal listings would cover much more of the <1950ish releases or films with structural merit that are not so effects driven for more current ones.

Harry Potter only got my vote 'cause it's shorter.

Titanic had the advantage of "naked titties", but 3 hours was just too damn long.

OK... point taken...

Titanic is a colossal waste of time (except for Kate Winslet's boobies).

I can't believe people out there actually liked Titanic. If Finding Nemo doesn't come out on top, I'm going to be making a lot of posts in the Beat Up A Fellow TFP'er thread.

I saw the Titanic in the theaters and I hated it. It was drug out and their choice of DiCaprio, not a chance of my favor. The best part was when she let him sink to the bottom
