That's too funny, anyone with that sort of time needs to find something worthwhile to do. :P

mirevolver 04-25-2004 02:28 PM

You know, just the other day I was wondering how an Etch-a-Sketch can be nsfw.

Now I know.

Destrox 04-25-2004 03:01 PM

That is art

cherriesue 04-25-2004 03:15 PM

bparker805 04-25-2004 03:49 PM

Fremen 04-25-2004 04:08 PM

How'd he know my mom has an underbite?

telekinetic 04-25-2004 11:19 PM

Not funny, but pretty cool...there's some guy who makes and sells really awesome etch-a-sketch "paintings"

Here's one I found by him...

"Etch a Sketch

For 20 years Nicole Falzone, has been using the Etch A Sketch to create totally unique portraits. With remarkable skill, she is able to draw portraits from a photograph, which requires her to use both hands.

Nicole and her pieces have received television exposure on the David Letterman Show, Good Morning America, CBS News and recently in a Honda commercial. Prices start at $1500. USD for a permanently fixed and plexiglas framed portrait"

they did a thing on etch-a-sketch on television, and they found out that (besides miss falzone i guess) a trained surgeon was the only person who was able to draw a perfect circle.

i call etch-a-sketchs "carpal tunnel primers"...

Glad-I-Ate-Her 04-27-2004 06:36 PM

That's awesome!! I can't even draw a circle on Etch a Skecth!!

Glad

I believe they put some sort of glue or adhesive binder in them when they're done to prevent $1500 accidents.

MaGlC_MaN 04-28-2004 03:16 AM

ok, that Nicole Falzone person is an Etch a Sketch goddess..

HamiC 04-28-2004 05:09 AM

She's cheating, though. If you look closely, she is using a "Magic" Etch a Sketch. Everyone knows you can do crazy things with magic.

The first picture was done on a "Travel" version. That takes daring and skill. One bump in the road and.....poof!

fernweh 04-28-2004 08:55 AM

Here are two that my friend Amy did... completely freehand :D People have said that it looks like she cheated on the first one (the very left end of the table looks "magneted") but that's just residue from the sticker that was there when she bought it.
