On a hot summer day, police are summoned to a field several miles outside of the city. A frozen corpse lies on the freshly tilled ground with no footprints nearby, and the farmer working the field saw nothing other than the sudden appearance of the body.
How came the deceased to pass and arrive in this unlikely place?

Fell out of an air plane at a very high altitude (froze the body). The farmer never saw the body fall to the ground but just found the body lying there. It's the best I got at the moment.

The frozen dead have teleportation privileges.

The farmer wasnt paying attention when aliens hovered 10 ft off the ground and dropped the body. See the body had been in space and it was really close to absolute zero. The aliens didnt want it anymore and they thought that they would make everyone wonder if they left it in a field on a hot summer day with no footprints and a dumbass farmer.

bparker805 gets the fuzzy bunny. The decedent was a stowaway in the landing gear space of an airliner who died of hypothermia. When the plane's landing gear opened, the corpse fell out.

I pretty sure it was aliens.
