"Dude, it's called 'nitrous'! You punch a hole in the bottom of the whipped cream can and use this pipe here to inhale all the propellant from the can at once. It's a great, perfectly legal buzz!"
The worst part is, it SOUNDED like a good idea at the time.

I came back from camping and being completely carefree on the most beautiful beach in Puerto de los Lobos, Mexico.
The only thing I can think about now is going back. Responsibility sucks.

"Today" being yesterday now...
Woke up Ate a bowl of Fruit Loops (mmm...my favorite) Put a load of the baby's laundry in the machine. Checked the fluid levels in our vehicles. Mowed the lawn. Tossed the neighbor kids' now destroyed tennis ball back into their yard. Finished mowing. Repaired the screen on the front storm door. Changed out the storm windows for the screen windows (old house/old windows) Weeded out the front flowerbeds in preperation for...flowers. Played "ball" in the back yard with my 18 month old. Remembered his laundry...put it into the dryer. Almost passed out from smell in basement. Cleaned out the cat's shit house. (daughter's cat, by the way) Bitched at daughter. Threatened cat with the pound. Was enlightened as to how mean and evil I really am. Decided that I really didn't care and had myself a beer, on the back porch. Took a much needed shower. (whew) Screwed off on the internet for awhile. Folded baby clothes. Realized I hadn't eaten since my Fruit Loops. Grabbed a bowl of pretzels and made a ham sammich. was informed that dinner was going to be in an hour. (I'm hungry...now) Gave my daughter money for her prom ticket. (mean and evil...uh-huh) Read my book for an hour. Napped for 1/2 hour. Refolded baby clothes. (left them on the sofa after the first time) Wised up and put baby clothes away...this time. Ate dinner (an hour late...hrmph) Watched T.V. Read a Sesame Street book, about 50 times. Put baby to bed. Watched T.V. some more. Went to bed my own self.

I hit a morning dove on my way to work today.
Damn thing was sitting in the middle of the road as I was coming up. It flew up and smacked right into my grill. Can't be a good start to the day, can it?
