hopefully something made you at least crack a smile.


for me... i finally got the flooring installed in my kitchen, dining area & hallway.

i am uber happy right now :D

we've been treading on plywoood since early last fall

today our flooring was <i>finally</i> installed. i 'm soooooo happy right now!!!

it all began with a messed up bathroom floor...
decided to to take the same new flooring down the hallway & into the kitchen.
road block... major subfloor issues in kitchen.
enter total kitchen remodel.

our general contractor kept waffling on the floor issues, so i just went & found a flooring specialist dude w/30 yrs flooring experience. he also does general contracting, so i may have also just found a new contractor. :)

please pardon the dust. i was too excited to clean before i snapped!

i am giddy. i haven't been able to see this view for months since our fridge has been sitting in front of the patio door since january. now it is sitting by our front doors. poor drug around fridge. ;)

there's lots more deatils yet to attend to... but it won't be long before i can burn frozen pizzas in my own oven in my kitchen again!


oh yeah... i love my black ceiling but hate the wall color. feel free to suggest colors for the walls :D

*sigh* i picked out the stupid color... it was a very last minute knee jerk decision....
i had planned for rich dark chocolate color, but many people talked me out of it. maybe... i should not listen to other people. LOL

and my cat is indeed satanic. yup.

I finally got to pet one of the wild cats in our city. Normally they flee whenever I approach them...maybe I should start carrying tuna in my pocket as a bait? :D
