Help me design JengaShip
http://images.google.ie/images?q=tbn...tar/homsar.jpg
Oh no! You shanked my JengaShip! The moment I heard of JengaShip, I was intrigued. A magical combination of two of the greatest games of all time, Jenga and Battleship. The question is....how do you play it!? Imagine my disappointment when I found out that no such game exists! I was devestated! Well only one thing for it: We cannot allow such a brilliant concept go to waste. We must design the game JengaShip. We must come up with the rules. You will need: 2 sets of Jenga: http://www.abstractstrategy.com/jenga.jpghttp://www.abstractstrategy.com/jenga.jpg One set of Battleship: http://www.areyougame.com/images/items/HB4730.jpg So any ideas of where to go from here? One thing is for certain, the phrase "You shanked my JengaShip!" must be uttered at least once every game. GIS for JengaShip: http://images.google.ie/images?q=tbn.../jengaship.jpg |
lemme know when you've worked out the bugs for the online version.

We should probably include Connect 4 in there somehow as well. |
Do you think chutes and ladders could be added as well?

Aw christ crackprogram! I'm having enough difficulty as it is!
Oh all right then, maybe for the bonus round! |
perhaps for every ship you get a direct hit on you have to take away a jenga block, when a whole ship is sunk you take away two. Whoevers tower falls first loses, the winner gets a grilled cheese sandwich, the loser get kicked in the nuts by a donkey...
|
the question is, where do you get a donkey that can make grilled cheese sandwiches?

for love of everything that is holy & not so holy, can you please work this one into the mix, too?

You've all forgotten the funnest part. The shanking.
The new rules: Talking out of turn...that's a shanking. Looking out the window...that's a shanking. Staring at my sandals...that's a shanking. Shanking the Jengaship...ooh, you better believe that's a shanking. |
Fremen, maybe we could make that a two-fer, donkey nuttage while drinking prune juice.
i could see that working... |

OK, howbout...we add a one-peg boat (somehow) known as a Jenga Ship...each player sets up their own Jenga, and after every shot, pulls a block. Your one-hole jengaship is 'shanked' either when your jenga stack falls down, or the other person guesses it normally...whichever comes first. Other than that, it's gameplay as usual.

How about you draw Red Ships on some Ginga pieces and Black Ships on some other Ginga Pieces.
You set the game up normally and take turns pulling. --Whenever someone pulls out one of the opponents ship... they keep it. --If you pull out your own ship you keep it and get a point value associated with each ship type. --If you pull the opponents battle ship you automatically win. --If you knock the tower down you lose half your points and all points are then counted. The person with the most points after that wins. --oh... Optional Drinking Rule: If you pull an opponents ship they have to drink the point value associated with it. If you pull the battleship they have to slam a full drink. Cheers... Grim Master Drinking Board Game Designer for the Shamalama Social Club |

I don't think it could possibly be improved upon, so it cannot be incorporated into JengaShip! |
