Hiding Out

Does anybody remember Jenga?

It was a block stacking game, you had a bunch of small rectangular blocks and you would remove one and stack it on top and say Jenga. Then another person went and another and another, the stacking continued until the tower fell. Here are some random jenga shots.

And here's one from what appears to be a Jenga-esque "Competition", being made by a man who appears to be Drew Carey

Finally just a cool looking Jenga pic!

Remember jenga?
I didn't know it had been forgotten.
Don't they just keep coming out with new versions?

you people act like this is a game from the turn of the 19th to 20th centuries... sheesh.

The game is sold in every major toy store, Walmart, Kmart, and Target.

Now, you want a hard to find game... find the card game Palabra.

I never really knew jenga went away. Wasn't there a big media blitz for it last christmas, for the new truth or dare jenga?

I just wish I had an older set. I bought a newer one last year, and it sucks. The pieces are not square, and some are different sizes. Not off by alot, but enough to fuck up a game. That, and the plastic former thing they had was switched to flimsy cardboard, so it's impossible to set up correctly. I think the wuestion should be, "do you rememner when Jenga was a quality game?"

Jenga, Jenga, Jenga...
Still a big hit. It isn't really that old. We still play it.

The last pic you posted is cool. Quite a challenge to accomplish that.

But can you do the rubiks cube beside it?

You take a block from the bottom and you put it on top,
You take a block from the middle and you put it on top...

....

Uhhh.... how's the rest of it go?

I have a mahogany set from Tailand. Absolute precision. It's a lot of fun, the pieces are much heavier than traditional pine or oak.
