A man lives on the 50th floor of a building, and works on the first floor. Every day he wakes up and enters the elevator, he then presses the button for floor #1 and goes to work. But, on his way home, he enters the elevator and presses the button for floor #25 and walks the rest of the way...


Why?


Hint: It's not because he wants the exercise.

he is a midget and can only reach the button for 25th floor when going up.

Good Job! The man with the midget gets the not-so-fuzzy bunny...

Umm... 25 of the floors are underground.

If he were a smart midget, he'd carry something with him that would enable him to reach for the button. Or else he'd wait the extra few seconds for someone to come in and do it for him. :)

And the other version of this riddle says he goes from 50th floor to 1st floor, and if it's sunny out he goes from 1st floor to 20th floor and then walks, but if it's raining he goes from 1st floor to 50th floor - he's pressing the button with his umbrella.

I'd agree with kutulu. If I were a midget, and forced to walk up 30 flights of stairs on a daily basis, I'd carry an umbrella rain or shine.

I never said anything about him being smart, just small....
