CN's Trivia #1

What two colors cover the most area on the outside of UPS trucks?

VF19 03-19-2004 06:02 PM

brown and yellow.

edit: that sounds really really gross

kazoo 03-19-2004 10:47 PM

Blue and white, e.g. the sky. It depends on how you phrase/interpret the question. One could argue yellow/magenta/cyan or red/blue/green whether you wished to digress into primary or secondary color selections. :D

Brown and black... I assume that the underside of the trucks are not painted , and if it's anything like the underside of my truck, it's a real dirty black.

ChickenNinja 03-21-2004 03:59 PM

Noone's gotten it yet, although kazoo had an interesting theory ;)

Lotronex 03-21-2004 07:09 PM

brown, and a slightly different shade of brown?

ChickenNinja 03-21-2004 09:02 PM

Here's a hint: I work on the top floor of an office building.

losthellhound 03-21-2004 09:17 PM

Brown and white.. brown for the sides, white for the roof

kazoo 03-21-2004 11:03 PM

How about brown and clear? The roof panels are made of a translucent polymer affording interior illumination for the driver. CN likely is alluding to skylights, no?

balderdash111 03-22-2004 08:13 AM

grey and black - asphalt

kazoo 03-22-2004 09:11 PM

If I view the planet from space, I'm looking at the area outside of UPS trucks, no? That would still be blue and white, taking into account the oceans and seas, and the arctic and antarctic caps.

ChickenNinja 03-24-2004 04:40 PM

losthellhound got it, haven't been on the computer in a few days.

kazoo... you went a little overboard. :)

losthellhound 03-25-2004 11:10 AM

;) woohoo! whats my prize?

fhqwhgads 03-29-2004 08:54 AM

I'd be willing to bet that there is more surface area on the underside of a UPS truck than there is on the roof. I stand by my claim that the dirty underside of the truck covers more area than the white roof.

Then again, I'm just nitpicking...
