The 30 Second Mystery 68 - Why?
There are four categories: Who, What, Where and Why. Some will be easy, some not. I have as many as six clues to help you along, which I'll supply as needed.
Please limit yourself to one guess, and another guess for each clue I supply. No questions asking for help or hints are allowed. Partially correct answers won't be acknowledged. Wild guesses and comments are fine. In fact, they can add to the mystery and are fun to read. Be precise when guessing. Be patient. The Case: Jala bin-Akbar is driven from her home in California to a government building. She meets an official there who travels with her for a time, then directs her back into the building. She is then photographed and fingerprinted, even though she has committed no crime. Jala drives home with a smile on her face. The Mystery: Why was Jala smiling, and what was the building? |
It's the immigrations building and she has just been granted amnesty
|
She was smiling because she just passed her Driver's Examination, and the building was the department of motor vehicles.
(do they really fingerprint you?) |
Smiling: she's on vacation, having fun.
Building: Alcatraz prison. (I'm guessing that the Alcatraz tour has a "mug shot" feature.) |
yup, she just passed the test and got the ol' driver's license.
