The 30 Second Mystery 53 - Where?
 

There are four categories: Who, What, Where and Why. Some will be easy, some not. I have as many as six clues to help you along, which I'll supply as needed.

Please limit yourself to one guess, and another guess for each clue I supply. No questions asking for help or hints are allowed. Partially correct answers won't be acknowledged.

Wild guesses and comments are fine. In fact, they can add to the mystery and are fun to read. Be precise when guessing.

The Case:
A Danish woman travels to Africa in the middle of the summer with a group of friends. The group pitches its tent less than 200 miles from the equator. The next morning, the woman and her entire party are found frozen to death.

The Mystery:
In what country was the group camping and where did they pitch their tent?

Nepal, Mt Everest?

Look at who failed geography. Duh.

Tanzania, Mt. Kilimanjaro

Yeah, I figured he had it, but the only map I could find quickly wasn't big enough for me to see which side of the border the mountain was on. Onward and upward I suppose!
