|
gummy bears
foil...watch it burn!!! :) |
My exwife....sadly haven't been able to do this as of yet.
|
Haha, steel wool. That didn't turn out so well. CDs are pretty neat in a microwave and so are light bulbs. All the pretty lights.
|
hmmm,
I don't think that is good for your microwave. |
Yeah, And I don't think the hamsters would enjoy that too much, cchris.
|
The kitchen on fire pic made me almost pee myself... awesome!
Waaaay back in the, erm, early 90's, the old old New York State driver's licenses (not the ones in use today, or even the ones before those. These are the OLD tan/beige ones) had this red "UNDER 21" over your picture if you were under 21. It was a common practice to tell freshmen at my college that if you put the driver's license in the microwave the "UNDER 21" would fade off the license. Instead, the license would curl up and turn all bubbly, like a shrinky-dink. Minutes of fun! -Mikey |
Water,in a cup,120 secs.instant coffey,presto,GoodMorning! Wild!

A foam nerf ball... it turns into some kind of liquid... something.

BTW Bones, that CD-in-microwave gif was so cool that it magically became my avatar.

Foil makes for an interesting light show!
|
Heh back in high school we used to pick up the broken microwaves the evening before trash day.
Bring them back do a quick fix and turn the back yard into the AOL Light Show. Man we were bored. |
man that cd thing was great
|
Grapes make sparks too, I think. Just not as spectacular as CDs.
|
If you take steel wool, and touch it to a 9 volt battery, it ignites. :)
|
I recommend putting two peeps with toothpicks stuck in them into the microwave and watching them joust. It's cool. And lest we forget, it was Maniac Mansion that taught us all that putting hamsters in the microwave caused them to explode. That game actually resulted in a wave of kids doing it too. Poor hamsters.

http://www.collectorsindex.com/images/c-1698l.jpg http://www.cpsc.gov/cpscpub/pubs/5009.jpg It was Bones' idea... I tried it... and it was AWESOME. I need a new microwave now, but that's beside the point. That kicked ass. |
magnesium... make sure it's someone else's microwave
|
that steel wool picture is hilarious. :)
|
I dont think anyone mentioned forks. Forks are cool, probably like tin foil, but hey, you will never know until you try. The dorms are a great place to see stuff like this. Our comuunal microwave saw many CDs in its day.
|
Pop cans are rather interesting in the microwave. Some vandals broke into my buddy's church during a food drive. They placed a pop can in the nuker and set it for some insane amount. The pop can exploded outta the nuker, ripped the door off, and broke through the cabinet 5 feet away. It was a flying projectile you didn't want to be in front of ;)

haha. that steel wool pic made me laugh. i never heard of the cd thing. i had to try it ofcourse. looked very cool! anyways, i remember my physics teacher once telling me a story about heating up boiled eggs in the microwave. these eggs were already peeled, and boiled ofcourse, but she just wanted to re-heat them for her guests. well, after about 30 seconds on high, she took them out of the microwave, put them on a plate, ready to serve. she then walked in to the livingroom, and as she was about to put the plate down on the table... boom! the eggs exploded!!! very very funny! :)
(atleast i thought so) |
Your head! Really, it can be done...use a fork to jam into the slot where the do catch normally goes...really cool sensation, and you can dry your hair in no time too!
|
As a kid I used to put bologna in the micro for extended periods of time... like about 5 mins. It taste really good, almost jerky like. The best part is it edges fold up and the bologna turns into a bowl. So you can fill it full of stuff and eat the bowl... Loads of fun I had with that. Hotdogs are yummy, too, that way.
Other then that, fish are fun. |
First time I put a coaster DVD into the microwave, I thought it looked like something outta the Matrix... pretty freaking cool...

Last when i lived in the college dorms people smelled something cooking and it was a cow brain. They cleaned up all the blood and people started using the microwave again. It was real gross.
|
tomatoes in fryers are rather cool
|
My former neighbor, she moved away, was not exactly the brightest of light bulbs. She put a piece of pizza wrapped in tin-foil into the microwave and it started floating!
Not like flying, but it was hover like a good inch in the microwave. Man that was funny and dangerous! That's the kinda thing Darwin awards are given for. |
