Bette Nesmith Graham invented Liquid Paper!! while working as a secretary in Dallas (she was originally an artist, but hey, you've got to pay the bills), Bette came up with the idea, and invented what she originally called, Mistake Out. in 1958, she called her company Liquid Paper, and by 1980, she sold out for $48mil. nice. she also was the mother of Monkee's band member Michael Nesmith. apparently she was also a pioneer for American women in business at the time. she established two foundations devoted to encouraging womens involvement in business and art. Adrian Lamo is a computer hacker who used to be homeless and spent his spare time checking proxy settings on major websites for security holes. He gained quite a bit of notoriety by reporting these holes to the company and because he was homeless. Unfortunately, in 2002 he "hacked" the New York Times' computers and they pressed charges. He plead guilty in January and he will probably be sentenced to 6 to 12 months of home-confinement.
